7/27 Training Camp updates

If thats true you myswell just hand the Patriots 6-0 in the AFCE and at least 12-4 overall. We needed Revis on our side just to even the odds, the Pats getting him is just unfair.

I'd just avoid him as much as possible...attack the slot the lbs in coverage and use motion primarily...let revis man pretty much run decoy routes...of course that's where most the one in ones will come from and if tannehill sticks to the presnap reads but that's not where the mismatches in our favor will be

I'm just going off what I have heard...revis is killing it

I worry that Gibson cannot stay healthy from here on out. He made a great recovery…maybe too fast, but I think Wallace, Hartline, Gibson and Landry could be tough on teams. Toss in Moreno as an RB and that could put some pressure on teams.

I have no problem having Gibson on injured reserve to start the season. If he's not 100% then let him heal and get his strength back. Meanwhile, we have Mathews, Binn and Landry getting valuable reps and playing time. Unfortunately, it is probable that one of our top five WR's gets nicked up by game 7; and that's when we bring Gibson back in for the stretch run.

Not really worried about Revis to be honest. Man gets away blatant PI on alot of the plays to his side. He is not a god or Deion Sanders reincarnated lol

Some things never change Dude. #Consistency

"Daniel Thomas trips on own feet in backfield going right...2-yd loss...think Starks woulda blown him up anyway"

If Miami had one go to receiver that they focused on all the time I would be concerned about Revis. However, since he can't cover three receivers at once I'm not that concerned. I'm concerned about playing the Patriots but not about Revis in general.

No in his prime revis has been a better all around corner than Deion was...best all around corner I have ever seen...preinjury

alarms me when a third round pick at guard "really needs to learn the concept of leverage" coming from the head coach.

Not surprising if you watched the Senior Bowl practices. Turner was scary bad in space and during the one on one drills. He played ridiculously high and indeed had no concept of leverage.

We can't afford to have Turner on the field this year. When coaches are willing to say something like that, you know their actual concerns are well beyond.

I'll repeat my concerns of a couple of months ago: Thomas and Turner have some athletic ability but they play very narrow for their size, and that allows them to be beaten in a flash when they make a mistake. At this point the mistakes are frequent.

Picking up Colledge was a sensible move. Too bad we don't have a second version of him in case Dallas Thomas simply isn't ready. There's a massive jump between improvement from 2013 to actually being ready to start. Last year he's where Turner is now.

Otherwise, I appreciate that Jordan blew up the bubble screen for a would-be pick 6. If we plan to abuse bubble screens we need to transfer to the Big 12. Lazor needs to be very careful and very selective with those plays or be prepared for similar disasters.

I hear you but if they can use him the same way the jets did when he was the dominant force on d in football and basically give him no help that means they can work more coverage and pressure schemes elsewhere...obviously we will find out...belichick though with that will dial up some filthy stuff if revis is his old self

Best way to equalize that is to eat his lunch on 1 or 2 plays...scheme shattered. At least show you're not afraid of his coverage...go deep at Wallace, leaning toward over-throwing (which RT has done this camp a few times). Underthrows could be disastrous...but it's risk/reward worthy IMO. First series of the game...dooo eeeet.

Did anyone ever eat his lunch pre injury or did they regret it...guy shut down every top wr he faced even with zero help...hell ted ginn caught a pa bomb revis got a bit too nosy on and around here you'd think we had won the Super Bowl...revis in his prime baited qbs all the time...I'd rather just attack the slot and lbs in coverage and try and expose the other boundary corners hips

The oc if he's in the booth should be able to see what revis has enough to know whether to test him...watch him transition how he closes etc...if it's as good as preinjury stay away...

Also remember even in Revis prime speed receivers like Wallace could give him some trouble. I think Ted Ginn made more big plays against Revis that Brandon Marshall did.

Yup. Revis is on a mission this year. Won't be pretty. We're going to have to attack the Patriots' linebackers in pass coverage, especially on early downs. If I was Belichick I'd double team Clay, leave a safety over the top on Wallace and man up Revis on Hartline. Wouldn't want to be Tannehill in that situation.

No doubt he's a beast...but everybody can be beat. I just think a team with the right weapons shouldn't allow him to dictate their entire scheme. Wallace has the speed, he just needs to run it clean, and he'll have opportunities.

I have no doubts week 17 turns out different last year hartline never gets hurt...that's just tannys blankie pretty much...once he went down early his replacement Mathews tannehill barely even looked his way and when he did on a proper lb mismatch crosser he dropped the damn ball with nothing but 30 yards of sideline real estate in front of him...

Revis if he is back to old form will eat hartline up...jump slant routes and those to the sticks comebacks we run in certain situations...better stay away if he's his old self

I'd attack browner If he's not suspended to expose those hips but you better not just let him get hands on guys and jam and reroute cause he will physically kick our wrs ass...get them off the Los and maybe stack to force zone looks etc...you must expose browner in transition...

Inside I like Arrington if he's there but Miami must attack the slot corner whoever it is...unleash Jarvis landrys route running and smarts on them

Going after the lbs in coverage is a no brainer but Jamie Collins is a dion Jordan level move and cod athlete...I'm sure they won't allow us to get after the inside the tackles guys primarily much at lb although that's who you want to get after with late motion and tempo...

Mccourty will be free lancing more if revis is his old self and yeah they will of course double clay...

How long before you think they line up chandler jones over jawaun James? Lol they'd do it in warm ups if they could even
