Except for the fact that Tannehill had a solid day by all accounts.
Some of things in that post are just wow.

That would allow whoever becomes the slot receiver to get huge plays, especially if that player is Landry, who could possibly already be our best all around reciever.
Then again if you play terrified against him, then you have already lost. by no mean test or underestimate a dangerous player the caliber of Revis, but also if the play is there, don't change it because of the player and who he once was or could be again. Miami needs to play smart, but not afraid.
We were sold on the idea that James was a plug and play guy and so that's why he went 19th. If he's not ready, that may not bode well for this regime. There's pressure on that kid to work out in week one. 43 days to get ready.

I'll be curious to see if there's any impact on the secondary this season, if the NFL is actually serious about actually enforcing illegal contact every time its committed.Richard Sherman is hands down better then Revis. QBs throwing at Sherman had a 31 passer rating last year. Tops in the league. Hes been doing that since he came into the league
The nfl did that same crap back in 04 after the pats man handled the colts WRs. Football is supposed to be physical. I wish they stopped changing the purity of the sport because they see more points equals more ratings

I do not find humor in this at all. WHY are they doing this? Is this typical on other teams? Is Philbin a moron?
I understand that Tannehill will turn it over a lot and may need to make a couple of tackles, but does form tackling ever come into play? Isnt it usually the QB tripping someone, tackling from behind in pursuit, up or just getting in the way to make a player returning a fumble or INT hesitate or change direction so that someone else can tackle him? Why risk injury to one of your QBs by having them practice form tackling in pads?
Personally I think this is much more foolish than anything Cam Cameron ever did, such as having Ronnie Brown return KOs in preseason. This is as baffling as Tony Sparano sending Jake Wrong out there in the 4th qtr of the last preseason game vs. Dallas.
