8/15 Wednesday Morning Practice Tweets

Its ignorant and kind of insecure if you are rooting for someone because you can identify with their skin color.. I thought this was about picking the best players and overall the dolphins winning? I understand someone may root for someone if they went to the same school or some other things that not racial but to root for someone because you are white or your black is just ignorant I would say... Im black and im rooting for hogan... not because hes white but because he looks like hes pretty good on film and our wr unit would prolly be better if he is as good as they are advertising him. I know a large percentage here is probably rooting for him because hes white. Again I think thats a bit insecure and ignorant.

Where your first line may be accurate, it's still reality.....that's why 95% of ALL blacks in the US voted for Obama......was it because of his policies and direction?? NO, it was because of his skin color...END OF STORY.

Wow...whats going on here:

1) If a Black Candidate was running for the Republican ticket would 95% of "blacks" vote for him or her?
2) Historically have black voted more for Republican or Democrat candidate?

Silly comment..

Well I think the fact that he was a democrat and almost all of the black population votes democrat is more the case. If jc watts ran for pres, I don't think he's getting 95% of the black vote. But yes. Unless demographics change, Miami will pretty much have a Hispanic mayor, Harlem will have a black congressman and turkey creek, alabama will have a white mayor.

I'm not buying garrards story that he was playing with his kid and heard something pop/crack. He was probably doing something he shouldn't have been doing. That's a lot of swelling from horse play with an 8 year old.

Back to Dolphins football and this morning's practice tweets.....

That kid Tannehill is gonna be something good for us, don't ya think? :D

all i want is good damn legit nfl football players on my team...i could care less if you're albino...come on down

Actually, I don't whole heartedly feel that way about WV....I was just trying to show R.Bush22 that his train of thought is on the wrong track and a tad bit juvenile. Hell, one could say that Omar doesn't like black rookie QB's because he mentioned Luck (played great) and not Griffin, but what sense does that make. I think Omar and other field reporters local/national saw that the offense clicked a little better with Garrard no more no less.

Then you shouldnt make such an accusation. Kinda ****ed up really. You dont even know me.

If youre trying to show the other posters train of thought was on the wrong track and just juvenile as you say, then just do that. There was no reason to bring me into it.

Basically, you want to call that posters action juvenile because he suggested Omar favors Garrard just because Garrard is black by calling me a racist. Thats ****ed up and totally hypocritical. I call total BS btw. I think you just wanted to call me racist and now youre making an excuse for your action.

Your premise is inaccurate. Thats like saying black people would vote for Jesse Jackson if he ran for president. Some would but the majority wouldnt. He wasnt a good candidate at the time and never looked on as being presidential. Obama was a bit different. You may different on your political views but he was a well educated and ready canditate for the job. Everyone else running came off as incompetent and un prepared. In the end it took more than the black vote to put him in office. So yes someone may have voted because he was black which again I say is insecure and incompetent but the fact that the guy was as knowledgable as he was and as poised and personable helped everyone across race lines buy into the vote. Come on guys you gotta come better than that your just exposing yourselves.

Totally agree. Personally, I voted for Obama, but now Im not so sure I did the right thing. However, considering his opponent this time, It looks as though I will be voting for him again.

Truth. Color doesn't matter...who cares? If you can play good football, you're always welcome on my favorite football team!
