A Bills Fan's Take On The Dolphins

i disagree with the roth judgement, he was 1st round caliber and for sure would have went to the packers if that usc qb wouldn´t dropped so far

on the other side, i never ever had an own thread where 3 pages of replies were made :(

I think you guys have a chance to get to .500 this year which would be a step foward from last season, but your Offense still has question marks at some skill positions.

Rookie RB is a tough call when making the transition from College to Pro ranks, it's a long shot that Brown will rush for 1000 yds especially with a questionable line.

Unproven QB that will only be successful if the line plays as a cohesive unit.

The biggest question is how Boston will respond and if his body can hold up, after being somewhat of a non-factor in the League over the past couple of seasons can he come back as the player he was with SD when he dominated.

Another question is Saban in his rookie season in the League as a head coach.. he could turn out to be the next Spurrior.

Sorry bro, good rbs have an easy transition to the pros it is the Rookie QB's that have some prob. And Boston dominated at ARI he was still solid with SD but I wouldnt say dominant. Saban will also never be another Spurrier cause SS believed offense wins championships. Saban has a completely different style. Grinding Defensive wins with a balance offense.

First off, I just wanted to mention that I am NOT a troll, I didnt come here to talk smack, just to voice my opinion and talk some football.!

On your offseason.....

You by far had the best offseason of the AFCE teams. You upgraded on both defense and offense. Hiring Saban was probably your best move.

On your draft....

Drafting Ronnie Brown was a great choice, he will be a great player someday and you desperately needed a RB. Your second round pick was questionable, selecting Matt Roth. It would have made more sense to look at CB or OL. You got a steal in Chowder(sp?) in the 3rd and Daniels in the 4th. You had the best draft in the AFCE

On your offense....

The only positions the Dolphins should worry about is the OL and QB. The problem is, those are the most impoiratant positions on the offense. Feely is NOT starting caliber, and I still dont understand why you traded a 2nd for him. You have a good RB in Brown and a good group of recievers, but I dont know how far your offense can go without a decent QB and a suspect OL

On your defense.....

The main question is at CB, where you got Rid of Surtain and with the injury to Poole dont really have a good #2. Saban should help this defense progress, and I see you being ranked in the top 10

Record: 7-9

Well theres my take on the Dolphins, hope to have some good football talk here at finheaven

good take,
although i think 7 wins would be nice, the fins have a very tough schedule. i am guessing 6-10 ish
i am curious as to your realistic take on the bills. over on the bills board :http://www.buffalorange.com/ they are a bit unrealistic and talk constant trash about the fins.
i joined just to stir the pot a bit and its working nicley

I think the Bills could possibly be over .500 this season also if they give an all out effort and have a little luck.....stranger things have happened.

Someone please save this reply......the Fins will go 11-5 and make the playoffs. I can only hope that NFL teams have the lack of respect the fans do. Please someone save this post, I don't know how to. I do know I'm gonna make a boatload of $ on the fins starting with the 1st game.....Miami 38 Denver 10, this will set the tone for the rest of the season. I seem to be the only person that can invision our starting lineup....It's gonna be something special...wait and see!

Wow,a Bills fan with a brain and not a lump of coal rolling around inside his head.Im impressed.good post.

Good take. If you have a user name at Bills Zone let me know and I will pos. rep you over there.

Nice post. However I dont agree with your opinion on us drafting Roth instead of a CB or lineman. At the time Will Poole was not hurt and we had added Mario Edwards to make up for trading Surtain. Even still IMO our biggest weakness on defense is the DT position. With Bowens and Chester maybe not returning DT is sure to be a weak spot. Kevin Carter is not an every down DT and Traylor is older than both Bowens and Chester. If Chester can return we could be ok at DT as long as both Traylor and Chester can stay healthy.

Way wrong on Roth...he will be great opposite Taylor. Line could use work, coaching will be a big plus!
