A little perspective for the Tannehill bashers

Why can't we have an opinion?

Why do opinions have to be dictated down to us, like we're trolls or idiots?

RYAN TANNEHILL sucks, big time

If you want to see a QB who sucks, watch the Jets next week when Geno Smith comes to town.

I fully expect to split with the Jets, but Geno Smith is still terrible.

To be honest, they may beat us... considering Buffalo came to town with a Panera bread employee playing quarterback and beat us.

And seeing Clouds goes to all the games he would have known the Jets aren't coming to town,we are going to Jersey...

An of course these "Franchise QB's" just grow on trees I suppose? If so I wonder why we haven't had one since Dan? Being impatient would and is just stupid.
Franchise QBs do not grow on trees. That's why I said CONTINUE TO EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITY.

We need to go all in in the next "top QB du jour" in April... this team is going nowhere with Hennehill.

He is stiff and unnatural at the QB position... another in a long line of misses from Jeff "Teflon" Ireland.

Its impossible to judge Tannehill or Philbin with a baboon for a GM running things. Last year we traded away our 2 best players for draft vouchers and every single free agent signing was a bust. This year we've got 4th stringers playing on the o-line, none of our draft picks can get on the field and $20 million sitting in the bank for some reason.

If Philbin had a lot of say in personnel moves then he definitely deserves some of the criticism he's getting but only Ross knows for sure how much blame can be laid at Philbins feet for that. Sherman should have been fired by now too but its tough to blame him for that.

must give mr.mediocre at least 5 years to show what he can do. must keep cadaver coach on too because he wins all his challenges. maybe we can field a winning team by 2025. remember we're on the right track and we must be patient, who cares if we've had 5 straight losing seasons and 1 playoff appearance in 12 years!!

Where is the group who said rbs are a dime a dozen. With our ****ty oline we needed a back like Tolbert we gets tough yards not a speedster and a poor short yardage back. Rbs help control the clock.

I could wait for the oline excuse, but we are not the only team with oline issues. Seattle and San Diego line was as banged up as ours.

OL play this year has been bad throughout the league. The difference is most OL issues are due to injuries, with us our OL sucked to begin with (I think it is actually looking better with Martin gone...)

My friend is a panthers fan and he said that Tanny was really good today. Said that their defence usually plays better against qbs and that he was really impressed with how tanny did with no run game. at least another fan's perspective might mean something.

Why put things in perspective or look for context, or try to be analytical when you can dismiss all of the team's struggles with "THE QB SUCKS, DRAFT ANOTHER QB OR TRADE FOR RAPISTBERGER" and convince yourself that suddenly every problem on the team will be fixed magically by having a different guy taking the snaps? Phil Wheeler suddenly stops missing tackles. Reshad Jones suddenly isn't having an awful year after taking a 30 million dollar contract extension. Brian Hartline suddenly picks up YAC. The OL suddenly starts blocking effectively. Daniel Thomas suddenly becomes a credible NFL running back.

Two first rounders for Big Ben. Do it now. We won't need those draft picks when Ben's magic healing hands cure all of our ills.

Comes down to "chicken or the egg problem." If we do get a QB without protection, it won't work. If we get protection, there's no point without a QB. In this case, I believe the OL should be first priority...mainly because I don't see a real good QB coming out that we could grab who would be any better than THill....sad but true.

I like the way you tag on the "5 straight losing seasons and 1 playoff appearance in 12 years!!" at the end, implying they've been with the team all that time.

Well the Gm has been here for it.

Tannehill lead us to 16 points, single handedly keeping us in the game again. Two career game winning drives to boot. Too bad Mike Wallace made us lose by not coming up with that tough catch.
