It's made that much more difficult when the person suffers from psychological problems that manifest themselves more internally (e.g., suicidal ideation, interpersonal discomfort, etc.) than externally (e.g., arrests for fighting, weapons charges, etc.).
In other words, the pre-draft psychological information obtained from Martin could be relatively worthless.
