But, but, but ...
We're DOOMED!!!

Me, I thought it was a slap in the face to Tannehill, a message that he is trusted only to manage games, not to go win them.
Nope sorry. The message he sent the team was one that the Dolphins were intimidated by the Bills. You can't send that message and expect the ppl under you to go out and play their best game moving forward. Philbin was wrong. Not sure how anyone can defend his decision. If people think Tannehill deserved the right to execute a 2-minute drill, then perhaps he should score more than zero points in the 1st 28 minutes. The evidence would suggest that the most likely outcome would have been a 3-and-out leaving the Bills with a short field and 2 minutes to work with.
Just look at last night's game. I bet the Colt's coach wishes he had ran the ball on 3rd and 9 to secure a 2 score lead with 5 minutes to play. Instead Andrew Luck threw an interception.
Philbin's decision to accept a 9-0 halftime deficit and regroup is defensible given what transpired during the 1st 28 minutes. After all they had overcome a 10 point halftime deficit just one week earlier. I'm sorry if Tannehill felt slighted by his coach's decision. Philbin was more concerned with doing what he felt best for the team as opposed to Tannehill's ego.
I will say this, even if i'm not sure it'll come to pass, but you learn more about your team after a loss than after a win. Do we have the character, and fortitude to learn from this and become a better team? we'll find out. I'll continue to question if we have the coaches and the talent to sustain a winning streak, but you do have to take it one game at a time.
... even though I believe brees took 4 years to even look like a pro.
