A Tale Of Two Cities - San Francisco and Miami

I wasn’t quoted by the OP, I was quoted by you. Saying that I never criticize anything is just a fallacy.

I simply correct people when they are wrong.
You said, you defend against inacturate criticisms and made up things. What is inaccurate about this post?

It is 100% a fair comparison from two teams who run the same style offense.
not sure why this text is bold I didn't even press the bold button.

I was talking directly to you, as a result of the post you made in the other thread. You tried to blame Tua for a mistake by Robbie Anderson.

I didn’t even say a word, just posted a highlight video from Miami’s win over San Fran, that you took personally.

What does it say about you that you got this upset over a post with no words?

Anyone who isn’t miserable like you is your enemy apparently.

Most importantly, let's see what they do with Brock Purdy. Forget what you or I think, the broad view in the NFL is that Purdy and Tua are roughly equivalent QBs. Personally, I would take Purdy over Tua hands down. More durable, better scrambler, and more of a gamer. He has held up against better teams, and he has won playoff games and gone to a SB (4-2 career playoff record).

My strong suspicion is the 49ers will not just roll over and give him a 5 year contract at $55mm a year just because he is their starting QB. They will come up with numbers ($ and term) that are substantially lower, and tell him to take it or leave it. If the 49ers don't think they can get a deal done with him at something close to their numbers, they will part ways.

The 49ers are just a much more well run organization. They have discipline, and they make tough decisions, and they are the better talent evaluators as well. The proof is in the pudding. Their approach works, ours does not.

I agree with you I would take Purdy as well (the kid will win tough games), and Purdy was a 7th round pick, we spent the #5 pick overall in the first round of Tua. The logic escapes me everytime I see Tua on the field....

Good luck trading Aiyuk, a guy going out for the season after a huge contract signing isn't exactly appealing to many teams

Purdy's going to get paid but the cracks were starting to show last year.
I tend to agree. Same issues w our wrs and QB

Which one would you like first?

Some of the same issues persist with both franchises. Shanahan wasn't called soft, but the finesse label was there.

John Lynch, after a rocky start (missing on Mahomes), has done a nice job addressing the physicality on defense while incorporating the necessary players for the Shanahan offense.

Granted, Lynch got lucky with Purdy. Otherwise, he might be out of a job after missing badly on Lance, trading up etc.

This feels like a make or break year for both McDaniel and Grier. Grier needs a foundation draft IMO, but that's really something he hasn't been able to do. The trenches is where most of the resources need to go in the draft.

Not quite bud. You posted that video as a rebuttal of the OP as if you were trying to prove that what he said didn't matter or wasn't relevant just because we happen to beat them last year.

You can try and deny that or say it wasnt your intention all you want but that's exactly what that meant.

Your interpretation skills are seriously lacking if you think I'm miserable. No one here is my enemy. I don't take message boards on the internet to heart like some ppl

And anyway, you still won't answer my question. What was innacurate or made up? And how is comparing two similar ran teams an agenda?

Your attempt at blaming Tua and not Robbie Anderson for that second INT was what my comment was directed at. Not the OP, who follows me around like a shadow begging to have me predict things because his goal in life is to be able to say I’m wrong.

The comment was directed at you, as well as others who make inaccurate criticisms.

This site is full of legit criticisms, you don’t see me commenting on any of those because they are factual.

It is funny how upset you got over a post with no words though. A dolphins highlight video set you off. That’s the kind of Dolphins you are. Sorry for not wanting to associate with your kind.

Again, I'm not mad. But we will disagree on that second interception then. Because even if robby didn't slip like you said, that ball was thrown very high. Even benford had to jump to get it

How many conference championship games and super bowls have we been to since that trade happened?
They made a mistake and recovered, which is an indication of a well run organization.
No, they made a mistake and are paying the price for it now......including last season.

The only thing we know for sure is that Robbie Anderson slipped and wasn't where he was intended to be, which is right in front of that DB. If you want to pretend that one is on Tua, fine, but to me that's absolute non-sense.

Now I'll ask a follow up question, what would you have said if Tua just taken a 15 yard loss on a sack instead of throwing the third "INT", instead of as you said, just throwing the ball straight in the air?

Both went all in to try and win a SB. Both run the Shanahan system. Shanahan is there, and a Shanahan guy is here. Both have small-ish QBs. Both had the highly paid WRs and the dominant offenses (for some period of time). That is where the similarities end.

The 49ers made deep playoff runs, including 2 SB appearances in the last 6 years. The Dolphins none, not a single playoff win.

Just prior, going back to 2011, the 49ers were also making deep playoff runs, and went to a SB as well. It didn't work out, they blew it up, went to the bottom, and built the whole thing right back up successfully to the point that in only 6 more years they were right back to the SB. The Dolphins for the last 25 years go nowhere, blow it up, and then go nowhere all over again.

Now it seems to have come undone for both teams again, but history repeats, and both teams seem to be handling things very differently. San Fran looks to be biting the bullet, making the hard choices, and starting over. Miami seems to be extending and pretending, once again.

Here is a list of what San Fran has done this off-season, they are clearly making the hard decision and breaking the whole thing down again rather than trying to extend and pretend mediocrity: https://ninernoise.com/49ers-free-a...-signings-departures-and-updates-01jnrt9n3t8n

They traded the aging and under-performing Deebo Samuel away while he still had some value. Today, they just told Brandon Aiyuk to go pound sand and seek a trade. We did the opposite and handed out big new deals for our guys, including the old one with a bad attitude (Tyreek), and we are still sitting on both of them with $60mm a year tied up in the position while we have massive roster holes elsewhere. The 49ers let a lot of their higher priced older guys walk in FA (like Dre Greenlaw), we give Jalen Ramsey a big new deal.

Can't argue with a single thing. Facts are facts.
