I think he makes bad decisions because of bad coaching and the Saints organization.

I think he could do much better if he was better coached because he has developed a lot of bad habits.

I'm not into salvage operations so I say no, however.

Ditto. Haslett is the Wanny of the NFC. If Aaron Brooks did have a good coaching staff around him i see no reason why he couldn't start for us.

Has he played in our system?? No!! You don't know what he could do on this team and if you want to be picky, I could find bad things to say about nearly every QB in the league. Stop being ridiculous. If you don't like him that's fine, but stop saying he did this, he did that and trying to use that as logic while ignoring every good stat the guy has, it seems a little bias to me. We don't have a lot of options.

Ive seen him play probally more than all of you guys I download games on my computer so I have like 20 or 30 Aaron Brooks games, some he won some he lost

That TD to INT ratio's been dipping each season. And following big games with bad games isn't really consistency you want in a starter. But I guess maybe that's related to coaching since we've seen that with Wanny. I don't think his OL has been that terrible sans this year. He's going to Atlanta if he's cut. Vick has enough leverage to make it so. He'd be a fine backup here but not really as starter if he keeps putting up multiple Int games.

He probally will go to atlanta but if there is a starting job open Id expect him to take that

I'll pass on Brooks. He makes terrible decisions, is not a leader, is not a winner and generally plays with zero emotion.

To me it seems like is just out there for the paycheck.

Theres no question that Brooks is an upgrade over Frerotte, and I dont like Brooks. Im not saying to pick him up but if its between the two Id take Brooks. Frerotte is terrible and has no chance whatsoever to be good, at least Brooks could be good if he would stop making mistakes. Look at Plummer this year, it can happen.
Brooks is the only saint Qb to ever win a playoff game, that makes him like the Joe Namath of the Saints.
I really, REALLY hope that neither Brooks or Frerotte are starting for us next year. Id look for Brooks to end up in Arizona.

I'd love to get Brooks, I think that he wouldn't be too pricey and he has excelled in the NFL. GTrue, he's been inconsistent, and has made some dumb throws, but the Saints don't have much around him.
I love the comment of Haslett being the Wanny of the NFC, I though Haslett should have been fired 3 years ago, he is terrible.
