I'll pass on Brooks. He makes terrible decisions, is not a leader, is not a winner and generally plays with zero emotion.

To me it seems like is just out there for the paycheck.

How does Brooks have the kind of numbers he has if he's a terrible decision maker?? That makes no sense at all. Take off your Leinart glasses and put on your reality of who's avalible to the fins glasses.

I don’t think anybody thinks Aaron Brooks ‘sucks’. He doesn’t. However, leadership is something he lacks and he often makes stupid decisions.



People can argue all they want that a new system would help himâ€â€I fail to believe that all of his faults and mistakes fall squarely on the shoulder of his coaching staff.



Ask yourselves thisâ€â€are you confident enough in Saban’s ability to change Brooks that you’d bring him over? I don’t know that I am. I wouldn’t mind taking a look at Schaub, but the book has pretty much been written on Brooks right now and he has made no strides to change.

Because you're blinded by the numbers.

Let's say a quarterback goes 17 for 30 for 250 yards and throws 2 tds, and one interception. Looks great, right?

What if the interception was thrown in the red zone and was returned for a touchdown? What if most of that yardage was thrown in garbage time after the team fell behind 21 points?

The fact is, statistics don't tell you anything until you remove them from their raw data, and even then you cannot make any real statement until you've watched game tape.

Aaron Brooks is nothing special at all... in big games, he's consistently been a loser... with abyssmal numbers at times and no real sense of urgency... he's a fumbler, and makes horrific throws in key spots...
