I bet he's never tailgated in Miami.

I bet he's never attended a game either. The attendance may be low but the crowds are always intense.

Dolphins fans are very loyal they just bitch a lot.

We have one of the biggest followings nationally and I would even go as far as globally.

I would like to see how he tested the football fans IQ. How did his IQ fare?

The Nat'l following is in hiding, when you start winning again it will get activated but for now and in recent memory the Nat'l following hasn't been as great as in decades past. Also, he probably goes by your poor attendance and needing to buy up tickets to avoid blackouts.

Ya even at the Mia vs cleveland game there were a lot of fins fans including myself. Saw a dolphin fan get arrested for hitting a girl though lol not even joking

Have you seen the crowd at a home game? They were 3-1 playing the Ravens at home and because they got blown out by the Saints no one wanted to go to the game.

I agree with Hayden. National support is very good. but, the stadium is usually empty. But, I disagree with the point someone made saying it would be empty if Miami was winning.
If Miami strung a couple of winning seasons, and playoff wins and was a real contender it would be full IMO

The franchise looked into a mirror and saw...

US

Meditate on that one...

The program reflects the fans...not the other way around.

Fins fans travel well.

Always big outing at road games.

Local games are always the issue. I know its beatinga dead horse but the stadium is not located for optimal attendance.

Middle of no-where, no public transportation to the game, basically half way between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale so one would expect to get fans from both parts but not working out that way.

I can't dispute this much. The Dolphins have a great national and internaitonal following, but locally they have burned far too many bridges, so the locals don't care much about the Dolphins anymore...

Even if they aren't the worst, they are definitely in the bottom 10. As someone who lived in both SoFla and San Diego, I would probably say the Chargers have less local support, but a lot of that has to do with their awful stadium.

At the Monday night game in Tampa.....about half the crowd was Dolphin fans....in my section alone I didn't have a Bucs fan within 3 rows....

We were louder all game except for the three straight sacks at the end of the game. I could not beleive how many Dolphin fans were there.

Yeah, you local Dolphins fans are a major disappointment-for those that do come out, I apologize- and it shows every week at the stadium. I became a Dolphins fan from NJ so, nationally, we are good but, you locals are so wine and cheese. Whenever I get a chance to go to a game in Miami, the stadium is never filled and people are too down. It does have a lot to do with winning. Just check that Monday Night game out when we were 2-0. PACKED!!!! and rocking. But, go tell that to fans in Green Bay.

at this point, can we please stop blaming the fans for lack of support? I mean really, 10 seasons of crap, nearly 30 years an no superbowl appearance, the fans didn't cause that, the team has let the fans down.

Again, go tell that to the fan base in Green Bay. They weren't always this successful team. In fact they were one of the losingest [sic] teams the nfl had ever known before the recent turnaround.

to be fair there's not really much else going on in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
