Adam Beasley report is not good

I think the issue with Reggie Bush was that he was instructed to take the yardage available to him, even if it was nothing, rather than improvising with the ball, and he failed to comply.

Reggie Bush might have been a hard worker, but when maintaining your personal running style is more important to you than doing what's good for the team, you're being a selfish, "me-first" player, not a leader.

He isn't Barry Sanders. He isn't given free reign out there to improvise at will.

I don't remember any of that. Their negligence of his talents and utilizing them properly was CRIMINAL. His benching for the fumble was petty.

He is the leader and face of the organization. Set the tone and expectations for the team. Maybe if he had a compass for a coach he would have demanded to keep leaders like Dansby and Burnett. It was unconscionable to me how he benched Reggie Bush last year. A leader that worked his ass off and wanted to help his team win was treated like an undrafted rookie. That was not Jeff Ireland, Mike Sherman or some ghost of Dolphins Past. It was Philbin.

Admit it, you love the potential for a team implosion

Perception is reality. Bush's teammates considered him a leader so when Joe sat on him, it hurt team morale. Look at the response during the Tennessee game after Bush coughed it up early.

It's about time.

I miss Don Shula as our coach.

this so many times over - i must admit though that i was so onboard with him passing the torch to jj - i thought shus' time had passed - little did i know it would take never to find a successor....

One of the worst games of Ryan Tannehill's career to date. Little the team could do to overcome that, Reggie Bush or not.

I am not sure why most are against blowing it up. It is apparent to anyone that Philbin is not a leader of men, he is not cut out to be a head coach in this league. We have allowed Jeff Ireland to have free reign and spend all of our cap space and our picks on garbage. We have very little talent on this team. Our entire draft class is a joke, infact, much of our draft classes under Irish have been garbage. When are we going to hold Ireland accountable for this??

If anything, in today's landscape, it has been made even easier to blow things up and rebuild in a short manner. The Chiefs were 2-14 last year...they hired the right guy, put the right people in place and now are the last undefeated team in the NFL...it just took ONE offseason, the Dolphins have been in this never-ending state of rebuild, its a sad joke. SIX YEARS we have been spending resources on an offensive line and we have ZERO to show for it, it has underminded our entire season. Ireland has to go, and he can take Philbin's OCD ass with him, Philbin is responsible for Sherman and his craptastic offense, we do little to exploit any advantages we may have and our team is simply moving backwards. We are one blowout away from a complete team meltdown...

Are you ****ting me? Not true! It kills me they are losing. I am depressed and angry.

Please look at my posts in the past few weeks. NEVER have I advocated for Joe to be fired. I want to hold things together. I am tired of starting over. Do I think Joe is doing a good job during this stretch? No. Do I think the fans and media have given Joe a "hall pass" to this point? Yes. I have praised Joe when I think he has done something well and ripped him for things he has done poorly.

BTW, I am picking the Fins to win tomorrow 20-17.

Well, Ravens reportedly had the same thing last year around this point...just sayin'

Joe has a LONG way to go to be in John Harbaugh territory to be fair. However, if we want to use this example lets do that...Harbaugh had strength of decision. He fired Cam Cameron and replaced him Jim Caldwell. He made major changes on the offensive line. He got back to basics by running Ray Rice.

Would Joe take the play calling from Sherman? Would Joe get back to running the ball and playing toward his defense? Will Joe do more to help his line such as putting in Nate Garner for Clabo or Jerry?

I am not convinced he does anything of significance to change things up.

Dude I hate to bring it up, but do you have to mention Tannehill in every thread you go to?
He's the quarterback of the team we're talking about. When it's relevant he's going to come up.

Now, if you'd prefer not to read posts of mine because too many of them contain mentions of Ryan Tannehill for your taste, feel free to PM me if you'd like and I can assist you in using your ignore list. :)

I think there is definitely some media retaliation due to Philbin's argument with Beasley. I think the Sofla media is just as vindictive and spiteful to its football team as the NY media.
However if Philbin has lost the locker room then its time to go.

Love the smart azz reply it's typical of someone with head up azz syndrome. Kudus.

This game is huge, if we lose and look bad doing it, this thing can get out of control......I want Ireland and Philbin to be a package deal.....when one goes so should the other, right now I want them both to have another off season and lets evaluate them after the end of next yr.....

Philbin hasn't helped himself by getting rid of better players because he didn't like them (both starting LB) or felt they undermined his leadership......when one of your players flips you off after making a sack on opening day says something about how the players look at you.
