Worth pointing out that in the case of Tony and Bonamego, Bonamego deserved to be fired. I don't think Mike Sherman deserves to be fired.

I think Philbin is in way over his head as far as being a head coach. He's one of those guys who is a better assistant who has one area to focus on instead of trying to run an entire team.

cant believe philbin let things get this far, dissappointed in coach joe.
We've seen it. More turnovers than TDs what he got. Sad but true, and nobody can dispute that fact.

I'm so sick of joe's press conferences, total waste of time, always the same ole chit every week. "he did some good things out there, It was our game plan, yada yada yada" Never will admit
they (coaching staff) made any mistakes. He always makes it sound like just 1 play here or there and we win. These *******s (coaching staff) need to take more responsibility for they're mistakes
and quit placing all the blame on the players. For example in Mondays press conference someone asked why they went away from the run in the 2nd half with the led. His reply, I didn't feel we got away
from the run and we had some other plays in our game plan we wanted to run.
Well I heard a report we only ran 6 times in the 2nd half. If that's not getting away from the run I don't know what is.

I am not sure how I can prove otherwise. I am tired of starting over. If the team were to lose two national broadcasts in a row...primetimers...then I might change my mind. Not until then.
Ditto Tannehill's press conferences. Total waste of time. He is so well taught to sound polite and say nothing so that he looks and sounds like a robot. Did they get the same PR coach they engaged for Chad Henne?

This team got rid of anyone who was viewed as a credible leader because Philbin hated to be questioned, that is not good coaching or management...an effective leader should want constructive criticism to improve his performance even if it comes from a subordinate. Outside of Wake (who is not a vocal leader) and Soliai (who is still isn't being treated like the elite player he is by management) there is no one with repsect of the other players to follow. The problem is....Ireland and Philbin created this mess during the off-season by letting good leaders go without having solid guys to replace them or a coach that can bring a locker room together. I've said it before.....it is a failure top to bottom...

Good news. Fantastic news. That's how the "empire" starts to crumble. This team has no chance at anything better than mediocre with Ireland picking the players. Good riddance.
