I don't understand it. Adam Schefter was interviewed by Rich Eisen on the Football Network and comented on the Ronnie Brown signing. He said that it is good that he is in camp since the Dolphins have very little talent. I completely disagree. On the offensive side of the ball we have Ricky & now Ronnie Brown to complement Sammie Morris and Lamar Gordon, certainly above average. WR's Chris Chambers (A super stud ready to bust out), Marty Booker, David Boston & others, not too shabby in my opinion. TE McMichael is certainly one of the top tight ends in the league. QB's are average, until proven otherwise, but not terrible and the OL is a work in progress with some recent additions which should help.

The D is centered around Zach, Taylor & Madison with some good solid lineman like Zgonina and others coming over from other teams during the offseason. Also the kid Travis Daniels looks like he has tremendous potential and Matt Roth will be good. I didn't even mention Crowder.

The special teams include Mare & Turk, two of the best.

So if you would please enlighten me on Schefter's comment because I don't see it. Sure there are more talented teams out there but I believe that our nucleus is pretty darn good.:shark:

you mean case and point.

Adam Shefner said that tonight???????? If he did his credibilty went down the tubes becuase 3 weeks ago he was saying and I quote him, after hanging out at the Dolphins facilty, "Nick Saban runs the most organized pratices I've ever seen and I guarentee that the Dolphins will win at least 9 games this season." Then he went on to talk about some of the key players on the team as reasons why. If he said we have no talent tonight he changed his mind 180 degrees. I hate when reporters do that and I like him so I hope it's not true. I'll have to watch Total Access tonight.

he like most sports journalists out there just hate the dolphins.
From what I remember he was talking the Fins up a week or so ago. I guess IN HIS MIND whatever he has seen in the preseason has changed his mind. :dunno:

Yeah I saw that too. Granted the dolphins were a bad team last year, but to say we have little talent seems unfair. There have been some pretty major upgrades at the majority of skill positions on this football team. With the exception of the defensive secondary, this years team seems improved at every skill position, both offensively and defensively. Guys like Schefter seem to simply discount the addition of Ricky and Ronnie Brown to the backfield, and Chambers-Booker-Boston-McMichael in the receiving game.

Again, 3 weeks ago the guy was guarenteing 9 wins for us mostly becuase of Saban and Houck but he mentioned Ronnie, Chambers, Booker and Boston. Reporters need to be one one side of the fence or the other. Nobody likes a teetering reporter.

Maybe hes 2 faced?

OT - Actually, it's a phrase deriving from a legal situation in which there is case precedent upon identical facts with the identical issue. "Case on point" or "case in point" would be appropriate useage. In legalese, it's also known as a "case on all fours".

Maybe he means talent in total depth. We could easily be a hurting team w/ the wrong players injured.

And I have the link to prove it! ;)

kinda like "a tough ROW to hoe" not what everybody now says "a tough road to hoe"

I remember that, everyone was pretty pleased, I guess this wrecks that. Oh well, not to worry men. We will earn the respect back. We can't make them like us, but we can force them to respect us. I'll bet New England is getting some serious satisfaction out of shoving their program down all the natsayers throats. We are next.
