AJ Feeley

As an Eagles fan who watched AJ play for us and play well for us, I can say this,
the Dolphins have a very good QB in AJ. When McNabb went down for us and AJ stepped in, many Eagles fans felt AJ played better in the passing game then McNabb did and wanted him to stay as the starter for us in the playoffs.

You can win with AJ. You need to protect him though. He also needs a very good system to play in. What the dolphins had last year was garbage, I dont think any QB couldve won with that. No running game, poor blocking, bad schemes. Other then Chambers and McMichael, there was nothing on offense.

I think Miami will be the surprise team this year and a lot of you will be shocked as to how well AJ will play.

Well you can have him back after this year, for a 7th round draft pick. Now that we have Berlin AJ may not clear THIS years cuts.

Berlin taking AJs job, thats hilariouis shows clear lack of intelligence.

I would rather die than have that overated A-hole of a QB play for my team. Philly can keep him.
BTW when you realize why he was a third stringer, then we'll talk, untill then, get your facts straight.

Buy now we ALL know why he was a 3rd stringer. HE CAN'T PLAY NFL BALL. The hard part of figuring out why he was a 3rd stringer is, "how did he make a NFL roster" ??

Yep, ya got that right. If Berlin was to take someones job it would be Gus's job. Why would Berlin want to take over the job of being the clipboard holder. :roflmao:

He deserves another chance under good tutelage and an improved OL.

I would take him back in a heart beat.

Ask yourself this, if the Eagles won 4 out of 5 games with him, why cant you guys win with him? Because we had a better team around him? SO GET A BETTER TEAM AROUND HIM.

I dont know what WANNY did with this guy, but he was a winner for the Eagles.
He proved he can win. He got high praises from every commentator doing the Eagles games. Andy didn't scale back the offense for him and passed quite a bit with AJ, showing he believed in him.

Our Line up was :
J. Thrash WR
T. Pinkston WR
C. Lewis TE
C. Martin FB
D. Staley RB

Granted our OL had two bookend OTs that were pro bowl players. So, like I stated, give AJ a OL and you already have better skill players then the Eagles had that year and he will shock many of you haters.

But AJ was returned to the bench b/c you had a better QB. That's what I want, a better QB. Fiedler was a guy who needed the supporting cast as well. Sure, like any NFL QB he had a few moments where he lifted the team, but they were too few. I see the same in AJ, another gutsy performer who isn't good enough, often enough.

there wasn't a bigger A-hole on and off the field than Dan the man. You probably weren't a finfan back then.

Let us know when you find a Tom Brady like guy that teams can't wait to trade to us...

Ok, put your money where your mouth is at. Whats the prediction? How well will we do?

If I remember Shannon Sharpe said earlier in the season on that HBO show that we had a system that was so complicated that it would make Dan Marino appear average, and Dan agreed that we had a complicated offense. Thanks for your input Shell I didn't know that.

Blah blah Blah, yeah, how big is O playbook? You need to look at Mike Martz playbook sometime.... Ours is puny compared to his. Maybe we need a QB that is smart enough to read.... read D's that is....

I like Sha Sha, but he should know. Some guys have talent that more then compensates for 'knowing' the playbook. Some guys, you just tell, "go out there and win the game for me." As long as you aint screwing with their ability, they perform. Neither is the case for Feeley, he just flat out sucks. Sure, give the guy his go, we wasted a 2nd on him, and will hopefully convince you guys hes a bust this year. But whoopie, we'll be in prime position to grab bust Leinart next year, whooopie, but you will be touting that garbage next draft to grab that SAMF. We got a great future to look forward too. :roflmao:

That's the problem. I see Brady as one in a million. That's why I was hoping for an early QB. As bad as everyone claims the odds are, they are better than trying to find a QB anywhere else. Unfortunately, after Smith was gone I didn't see anyone I would take over Brown (or anywhere else in the draft for that matter).

Thanks Shell, but there is no convincing some people on this board that Feeley even deserves a chance to prove himself.
Yeah, I agree completely. Give someone like Fiedler 4-5 years, or how-ever many years of pain that was, and wont even give Feeley a full year. I dont know if Feeley will ever be a superstaR QB or not, but 1 thing I do know is he's gonna be better than Fiedler was , thats for sure !!! I hope Feeley gets a chance this yer, then we will finally know for sure if this guy can be our future QB or not.

Thanks for your input. I am looking forward to seeing A.J. play next year. I don't know why there are so many people like Rafael who refuse to give Feeley a chance or even a hint of optimism.

I have been an outspoken Pro draft a QB person here, that is now water under the bridge, no matter what doubts I may have about AJ he is what we have and I will support him and hope he develops.

I just hope there is a top quarterback prospect available to us in 2006 if he continues to play inconsistently, I hold no illusions that Brock Berlin will have a great NFL career.
