anyway, everybody is on a clean slate this year. It doesn't matter about past performances, it doesn't matter about INTS for TDs last season, or being a "career backup"
for the first time, all of that is thrown out the window. The person with the best chance of winning games in the year 2005 will start. If Sage plays lights out in training camp, or if Brock turns into Montana.......who knows...
I'm just glad that Saban comes in with no ties to anybody or has no commitment to any player. He wont say, "oh, well such and such has a big contract, so he'll start" and that is refreshing
