no it does mean he isnt 100 percent sold. if he was sold, he ould pay whatever they can afford. if they feel like they can get the same production from alex smith who has been starting for awhile now i believe they go with alex smith.

Smith is very smart and athletic and might be VERY good in WCO so I have no problem if signed. And he is only 27 with much experience. At any rate, good job Ireland!

Well Smith threw 17 tds to only 5 ints last season with a 90.7 QBR... Not as bad as some are making him out to be, considering besides V.Davis he didnt have much to throw to...

Smith makes sense for the Dolphins, but I think this is a ploy by both Smith and the Dolphins. In the end, I still see Flynn being the one signed.
what makes smith garbage? his low interceptions? his number of comeback wins?
