Barry Jackson reported that Gates and Cunningham have been cut.
 
We don't need to get down to 53, we need to get down to about 42 and then fill up the roster with cuts from other teams.The other 11 I'd get 3 from GB, 3 from the Giants,and the other 5 from SF,NO,PITT and the pats.

The Westerman experiment led nowhere. Gates gone. That was such a terrible pick. They are starting off with some very aggressive cuts. I'm glad they're not being shy with the vet cuts and getting right to it.

released? no way, Ireland might be dumb but he's not stupid. With plenty of teams looking for QB's you'd get something from him.
