Yeah, I'll be happy if we get in but after today I kind of feel like we don't belong there. How long will we last against the likes of new england, denver, kc, colts, cincy. We just don't look good enough to consistently play with the big boys. It will be good for moral to make the playoffs but there is about 0 chance of us doing anything in the postseason. That being said I'd be in front of my T.V. rooting whole heartedly because that's what we do.

We are good enough to beat those teams in spots because our defense is real good.

But, youre right..... we probably dont belong. Our offense simply isnt consistent enough.

And again, if the Bengals didnt prove it today, that IS NOT the place I would like to have to go. I said it weeks before. Id much rather face the Colts, where we know we can win on the road, or even the Pats because that is a divisional game and we had a shot up there earlier this year.

That's why I can't understand everyone's bitching and moaning as if our season ended today. We still have as good a chance as any. This is the same team that has beaten 3 of the 4 division winners in the AFC. We won't face the bills in the playoffs, who for some reason match up against us better than anyone and we won't have to step foot in the wasteland that's called buffalo. We take care of business against the jets, and I like our chances!

It is funny though that no team controls their own destiny for the 6 seed. Lol

I'm just arbitrarily plugging in numbers but let's say there's a 35% of the chargers winning, a 65% of the bengals winning and a 65% chance of us winning which is a must, I think that the odds of us winning and one of the other two games going our way is around 48%. I've had a few beers so my math may be bad and you can plug in any other numbers you want that you think fit better but yeah. I'm guessing its around there

SD is much less than 25%. They need to win and have BOTH us and the Ravens lose. More like 10% for them at best.

Individually I would say.......

Phins have a great chance at winning..... ITS THE JESTS..... about 75% at least.

Ravens have a TALL ORDER trying to win in Cinci where they are 7-0 this year. Id say Ravens have about a 25% chance of winning.

Chargers is hard to figure. They beat the Chiefs on the road already and chiefs have nothing to play for. I think this depends on if they move our game to 4pm. It would effect the odds of chargers winning a great deal if we play at 1pm and WIN. Chargers would know they are eliminated.

I think our chances of getting in are pretty strong, especially if we play at 4pm.

So here are the scenarios for next week(assuming Chargers and Pats hold their sizable leads)

Phins are ELIMINATED next week with.....

A loss

OR

A win vs. the Jests AND a Ravens Win vs. Cinci AND a Chargers Loss vs KC

Phins are IN THE PLAYOFFS with...............

A win AND a Chargers win vs KC

OR

A win AND a Ravens Loss vs. Cinci


Simple as that. Nothing too confusing for anyone.

Im still kinda bummed we wont win the division. Still kinda bummed this team didnt win at least 10 games with this defense.
