I think with the Chase Young and the QBs people ignore Thomas.

There will be very slim pickings at LT in free agency, Castonzo and maybe Trent Williams.

There are few true LT prospects this year, after Thomas, there's Austin Jackson who I'm not very familiar with, Leatherwood and then it slides all the way to Tega Wanogho.

I also see Thomas as the least likely to be available at 3-4 out of the top prospects.

Anyone thinks Thomas will be there?

Or want Thomas at all?

Thomas, Fromm, Swift, Kindley? That would be great.

My logic for Top 5ish pick and what it means in relation to Thomas:

Priority 1 - QB available that is worth a Top 10-15 pick (overdraft a QB)
Priority 2 - All Pro potential caliber player at 3 Down Edge (not just a pass rush specialist), LT or CB
Priority 3 - Good Trade down package
Priority 4 - BPA

If Thomas is there and they see All Pro potential with no QB worth taking or a higher rated CB, Edge I have no problem taking him

If you are asking draft Thomas with our first first, I'm not sure many would be ok with that. I most certainly do not want OT at that position. I don't want OT in the first at all. Center is more important than OT in Flo's offense.

I like what I saw from Evan Boehm at Center

Thomas is a very good player and I'd love to have him on our team but to pick a LT up there?........we passes on Ryan to draft Jake Long who was very good too but it did not move the needle for us. If a LT was that last piece you need then sure but I'd either take a QB or Young. If neither is there I'd look hard to trade down for more picks.

Me too. But my ideal is draft qb and C together in this draft and let them career together. Humphreys with our 1c would be impossible for me to pass up.

Humphreys is really good and would be fine with me, but I'd like to draft OT's Trey Smith and Josh Jones, I think we'd be set at OT if we could pull that off and I think it's possible.

Impossible to pass? You mean it doesn't matter who else is on the board that you feel we can't pass on Humphrey? Humphrey's my favorite center on this draft at the moment but I'd have no problem passing on him for a better player at a different position if the right guy is there.
At this point OT is a way bigger priority than center.

Unless some top 10 drops inexplicably then pretty much yes no one over Humphreys with 1c.
I get I'm in the minority here. But C is definitely more important than OT. I have to listen to Brady in this. He is on record multiple times saying his C is the most important position in his offense.

I'd be good with Humphreys or Biadasz with the Texans pick, assuming they win their division.

Either guy can anchor a line for 10+ years.

Agree with this

If Chase Young is gone, and Herbert isnt the guy our front office covets, then I'd go LT in a heartbeat.
We are losing games due to a horrendous line... and no pass rush.

So fix them.

Centers are rarely taken before the middle of the first round... and Boehm looks like a find. Get the Tackle.
