Any Updates On Dustin Keller?

im not saying that what im saying is, as a qb you should never put your receiver in a position to get popped as soon as he catches it. tannehill does this all the time, hes young, but thats not the point. my point is, YES tannehill is the main reason keller got hurt, im not so definitive on gibson i dont remeber the play that well.

you must not remember the keller play that well either. Keller caught the ball, and turned 180 degrees before getting hit. The defender was a good 5 yards away by the time tannehill got the ball out. Only way a QB could be at fault, is if he leads the WR into a defender. this was 100% on Swearinger. Poor tackling technique, as he had his helmet down, and basically just dove and "tackled" with the back of his helmet into keller's knee.

Andrew Luck got Reggie Wayne injured with a bad throw. This happens to all QB's.

Have any of you guys learned anything about Dustin Keller's progress? Concerned.

It's time you let go.

you need to take that back, Keller is a good player, but clay proved that he belongs last season, I never seen Keller do what clay did last season.

Look at Keller's numbers in NY. Then consider who the qb was for his career in NY. He has done more than Clay if you put it in perspective. What do you think Keller's numbers would've been in the offense last season? Keller looked good in the preseason and I'm thinking his numbers would've been pretty good absent injury.

Dude has always been injured. Clay and Keller are the same player. Draft another TE and develope Sims.

This is my thinking as well. The draft will give us the heads up on Keller's future with our team/NFL.

Patriots could consider Keller for TE depth

Anyway, the fallout was that Keller’s knee was destroyed as he tore the ACL, MCL and PCL and dislocated his knee.

Fortunately, Keller avoided nerve damage so there is a likelihood that the rest can be rehabbed and he can return.

His agent, Eugene Parker, recently said Keller will be ready for 2014. That being the case, anticipate Keller being on New England’s radar post-draft.

New England is in the market. The team kicked the tires on former Houston tight end Owen Daniels but passed. The Ravens subsequently felt comfortable enough with Daniels’ health to sign the pass-catching tight end.

Keller doesn’t turn 30 until August. He signed with Miami after a disappointing 2012 with the Jets when New York’s quarterback chaos reigned. Prior to that, though, he was one of the league’s best pass-catching tight ends. Fast (he ran a 4.53 at the Combine coming out of Purdue), smart and a solid teammate, Keller caught 120 balls and averaged 12.5 yards per catch with 10 touchdowns over the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Even if the Patriots secure one of the higher profile tight ends in the draft – Jace Amaro of Texas Tech being the most likely – a long look at Keller would make sense.

The Pats said if he is still available after the draft they would be interested. Per Rotoworld.

I didn't read that on rotoworld.
This is what I read
CSN New England expects the Patriots to show interest in free agent TE Dustin Keller should he remain unsigned after the draft.

 Sounds like the exact same thing FFIC posted.

No its not the same thing not even close.

The article from a sports station says they expect the Patriots to go after him if he remains unsigned.
This isn't even a semantics issue as the other poster suggested.

Speculation by a media outlet of what they think a team will do is much different than the Pats saying they will pursue him if he remains unsigned.

So I guess by your logic if Omar Kelly expects the Dolphins to take qb in the first round its the same as The Dolphins said they will take a qb in the first round.
