I had the bright idea to take my son out there to spend the weekend and go to the game....until I saw the prices, absolutely insane, I refuse to spend that kind of money on a game that's on tv. Being that Ive never been to Vegas im thinking about getting a hotel and just watching it on a big screen at a casino, that might be fun too.

Nothing beats a live game day experience except prices. Raiders have insane prices this year.

I live in Vegas and will probably pay what it takes. This the first Year of the stadium so prices are way above what they will probably be. To the original poster, the hotel prices are just as ridiculous if not more insane. Only 8 or 9 home games a year, so casinos are gonna make u pay.

I live in DC so if im gonna splurge ill come to Miami to see a game or two for those prices. Had the best time ever years ago, let my son play hooky from school went down on halloween night , watched the Terps beat Penn State for the first time in 50 years on a screen on south beach, then saw us kick the dog **** out of the Chargers 37-0....priceless

The prices were astronomical and those were just for the nosebleed section

Then, there is the weather. Its brutal in late Aug/early Sept. I doubt late Sept would be much better

When I go to LV, I typical go as far as St George, Utah... then Daytrip it.

I can leave StG & get to the MGM buffet for the end of breakfast/start of brunch

The weather is definitely not as hot as July and August. No humidity either. Big difference. Also its a domed stadium so the game will be fine to watch. Plus most people will hit the casinos after the game. it will be hot but nothing to worry about.

I contemplated going to the Vegas game....briefly. I've only been to Vegas probably, twenty five times in my life, so it was an easy decision to go to Miami for the first time instead and see a game there. Lower level, Sec 139 vs the Colts and it only cost $145/ticket. Looks like prices have more than doubled since I got ours, but still a hell of a lot cheaper than seeing us play the Raiders.
