He was mister automatic, he was always good for a first down. 
The nose guard obviously didn’t help much since he seemed to always use his head to try and run over tacklers. He ended up breaking his nose 12 times during his football career.
I guess we could say he had a nose for the football

what we were lacking was a good running game and a QB that could throw the ball accurately most of the time!

All my friends were Jets fans back.in 1972. I was 10 years old and thats when I became fins fan. All heard was Joe Namath from kids at school. I was only one. My best friend was Cowboys fan so we were fine. Still friends today. Although he still tells me Cowboys gonna win it all . Every year! Ha!
