Anyone hear Colin Cowherd Ripping Miami Today?

He spent a lot of time ripping Miami for letting Ricky come back. He also went on to state Ricky would never play a down for Miami this year as he would be traded during his suspension phase. He also ripped into Saban for his limited media policy and basically stated Saban was setting the team up for failure by being the way he is with his media policies.

First off, I think we all agree Ricky isn't getting traded so Cowherd basically showed his lack of recent trade status knowledge right there. Seattle can't unload Alexander and the rest of the NFL is clawing over itself to get Ricky. Secondly, Saban has no chance of succeeding when other lessor known coaches such as Vince Lombardi, a young Don Shula, Bill Parcells and Bill Bellichick have also limited media access to their team on a consistent basis. Someone please tell me how these guys like Cowherd get to the level they do when they clearly don't understand the situation they are blabbing about?:shakeno:

I ask that same question about all the terd bill fans that try to convince some of the fans here the bills are better. As for the media it's the age old story, it's what sells papers. I know the media lies quite often but they are convinced at least in my opinion that the truth won't sell papers.

I think its obvious that he hates Saban for his media policies. Because he is a member of the media! If you can't get the information that you want when you want it, you tend to bash them.

I love the confidence with which Saban speaks. I also like the fact that Ricky didn't have any excuses. I like how Saban said up front that the questions posed were to be about his roles in the offense, he held his ground about hypothetical situations, and defended the situation. He spoke like a professional that wants to win. Not win at any cost. I don't know how many of you have read Saban's book, but I LOVED it. Some of you might benefit (especially the Ricky haters, of which I used to be one of) from the read; the book applies to his coaching philosophy but more to his life philosophy. I'm going to make a post tomorrow when I have the book so I can really summarize it, because it has key points for those of you that don't want to take the time to read it.

I think my favorite is not looking at or minding the scoreboard. When I say this, I do realize that "clock control" is important -- and game management can't be ignored in the NFL. But don't you guys think that Wanny was more than satisfied with 21 points, etc -- and just said "Okay, lets run and run and run."

Saban talks about how it doesn't matter if the team is up by 50 points. You play that individual down as hard as YOU can play it. Expect the same out of your teammates, giving absolutely everything they have. We have had an issue with work ethic, and trust me, its never going to be an issue with Saban.

lol he's Dan Patrick's SECOND STRING <---(Clapping), i cant believe such an important media figure would rip the team in this way....

screw him espn and the miami media let the nick saban era begin!!!!!!!!! this is a team that will work together 12-4 playoffs baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talking heads!!! Who cares? He is just trying to hit the chord w/ all the haters. Let's see what he says when RW rips it up in a game. Then I will elaborate on any talking head trying to generate ratings.

He also has his own show on ESPN radio from 10:00am-1:00pm, called "The Herd".

I listen to him on my way to my college classes and believe me, he is an idiot. I am not saying this just because he bashed the Dolphins, but just because he is kinda clueless on sports. I miss Tony at that timeslot.

The guy is a complete horses @ss...he knows almost nothing about sports and trys to act all moral...I actually despise him...

The only time I even consider listening to him is at commercial time during The Jim Rome Show.

this turd is an ESPN arch-type

knows jack**** about sports and is there to show his extremely low grade attempts at observational comedy

he makes Lebatard look like Chris Rock

Take it w/a grain of salt. Sports commentators like him just want to sensationalize any story they can get a hold of just to get a rise out of people.
....I listen to him a lot and you couldn't be more right about this guy. It's completely obvious most of the time.

someone metioned this in another post and it is very true.... espn, all comentators hop on bandwagons, now they say this they say that, when miami starts winning all you will hear about is how wonderful an idea it was to let ricky back, or that coach saban is the man, or some other **** as they are chassing the bandwagon down the road

well, well, isn't this ironic.

Since you agree means it won't happen? of course no one is going to say anything about trdaing him now, Ricky is very fragile mentally so any word of a possible deal could hurt him. I still belieev Ricky will never play a reg season down for the dolphins again.
