Anyone hear Colin Cowherd Ripping Miami Today?

I ask that same question about all the terd bill fans that try to convince some of the fans here the bills are better. As for the media it's the age old story, it's what sells papers. I know the media lies quite often but they are convinced at least in my opinion that the truth won't sell papers.
Oh look, he found himself a friend.

what about the finfans that disagreed w/ your posts? Are they 'terds" too? (whatch him ignore this again)

You are right about one thing, the truth (4-12) won't sell papers. The lie ( "the fins are better than their 4-12 record" DUH!!! ) however, couldn't sell toilet paper.

First off, I think we all agree Ricky isn't getting traded so Cowherd basically showed his lack of recent trade status knowledge right there. Seattle can't unload Alexander and the rest of the NFL is clawing over itself to get Ricky.
its a little early, so i might have misread this. are you saying that the rest of the NFL is clawing over ricky?? and inturn want to trade for him?

The guy is a complete horses @ss...he knows almost nothing about sports and trys to act all moral...I actually despise him...

The only time I even consider listening to him is at commercial time during The Jim Rome Show.

A Little while back Colin was claiming that Saban would be successfull because he had coached in the NFL before as opposed to Steve Spurrier who had never coached in the NFl before. He also has a whiny voice and he constantly repeats himself when he is trying to make a point.

I have NEVER seen a fan base so sensitive to negative press.

So a guy ripped Miami. Who cares. Doesn't mean he is a moron. Doesn't mean he has an agenda. Doesn't mean he is out to get Miami.

He's just 1 radio guy in a country of some 10,000 sports radio hosts who has an opinion.

Why do people get so worked up over this stuff I have no idea.

Limited access has been a good thing. I personally believe that we have some closet Jet/Bill/Patriot fans/spies in the South Florida media corps. Bunch of graceless and clueless commies! :fire:

You need to take a reading comprehension class my man. That's exactly why I disagreed with his comments of using Ricky for trade bait. He has no trade value right now and any sensible person would know this. Hence my facetious comment that Alexander couldn't get traded for a 3rd round pick so what could Miami expect to get for Ricky. Ricky, barring injury, is going to play for Miami this year.

Not sensitive at all. I just disagree with most of his comments especially when I believe he's talking out of his arse without really knowing the situation he is speaking about. Your one to talk when you're always in here ripping guys like Salguero for plotting against the phins.

Right, they get paid for there opinion, but they don't know anything. What is even funnier to me is when someone who is more nationally recognized than Cowherd such as Jim Rome/Pete Prisco, who give there opinion, and if it's negative, there is almost always a thread created, and my question to those people who create them is, why do you read Prisco's article/Rome's radio show, if you think they're morons? Cowherd actually made a good point at one point in his show and that's the meaningless of 2-a-day practices. I know everyone wants to believe that players need to be in shape, but he made the point marathon runners do not run full marathons in preparation of marathons. Players get worn out, especially some veterans, and I think shorter practices that are more "to the point," are better for teams overall. Basically better practices are better than longer practices, IMO.

I called in and talked to him at 1888 say espn and have been listening. He totally switches stances and practically agrees with what everyone says. He said some ****ty things about Heath Shuler that just were wrong after shuler was on the air with him the other day. Dont get me wrong shuler was garbage it just wasnt necessary however.

He claimed today that the Jets were going to the Superbowl and the only people who hated the Jets were the Jets own fans. Evidently he has never visited here.

He spent a lot of time ripping Miami for letting Ricky come back. He also went on to state Ricky would never play a down for Miami this year as he would be traded during his suspension phase. He also ripped into Saban for his limited media policy and basically stated Saban was setting the team up for failure by being the way he is with his media policies.

First off, I think we all agree Ricky isn't getting traded so Cowherd basically showed his lack of recent trade status knowledge right there. Seattle can't unload Alexander and the rest of the NFL is clawing over itself to get Ricky. Secondly, Saban has no chance of succeeding when other lessor known coaches such as Vince Lombardi, a young Don Shula, Bill Parcells and Bill Bellichick have also limited media access to their team on a consistent basis. Someone please tell me how these guys like Cowherd get to the level they do when they clearly don't understand the situation they are blabbing about?:shakeno:
Never heard of the guy but how the hell would limiting media access set the Dolphins up for failure??? What an idiot!! Does he even listen to what comes out if his mouth??:shakeno:

Everyone knows Ricky has no trade value right now. I believe that wasn't a serious statement, but more incredulous sarcasm.
