if we lost his range it would show up in a big way over time. I don’t doubt that.

I would add, that when given the opportunity, he is a good blitzer.

The fact that he isn't used more in that capacity, tells me he is an essential part of whats going on in the second level. That's just my opinion though. There may be other explanations.
