Apparently the Fins are in trouble for not letting Hobos sleep in the stadium

Relax and be a little more compassionate. If you were homeless, you'd find solice in having a place to lay your head. Remember fans life over football...

Open up your yard so they can Occupy it.

If I were homeless I would would just give the teller a note asking for 1 mill either way the problems is solved, I have money for a new home or they send me to a warm place with three square a day.

Why doesnt our government try to help create jobs instead of punishing teams for not letting their stadiums be soup kitchens?

They haven't let hobos stay there? Chad Henne has called it home for four years

Some people's attitude towards the homeless in this thread is downright pathetic.

Getting a job might seem like an easy task to you or me but not to everyone...many of the homless are barely above retarded intelligence, have serious mental illness, or are crippled by drug addiction. They need help, or at least a bit of compassion.

What sweat is it off your back if they sleep in the stadium? The only (minor) issue here should be that the Fins entered into an agreement and failed to make good.

We gave enough charity to a fist pumping meatball for 4 years!

I have compassion for the poor. However, I think the government is not the answer to fix the homeless' troubles and at times exasperates the issue more...such as this. Empower the churches and community groups and the issue would improve...my political soapbox for the night...lol.

There are lots of shelters for the homeless, Camillus House and the Miami Rescue Mission, to name two. They will take in, feed and clothe anyone who will follow basic rules like no booze, no drugs, no weapons, and go to church. The chronically homeless who aren't in the shelters (most people on the street have been homeless for less than a week, according to Camillus House) don't want to follow those rules (or can't because of addictions) or are mentally ill. So long as they leave when the stadiums are being used and keep them clean, I would have no problem with it, but that's not what we're going to get.

The greedy government made them homeless now they want to be greedy again and get more money

So shift the power from the government to the church. Ehhhh...

I think that church organizations can help people at the local level. The same with charities. The government wastes money, and at times, one might think that some in the government want people to be dependent on the state. That is deserves a ehhhh too.

I saw that....you know what I say....DON'T TAKE THE PUBLIC FUNDS!!!

I do not even know where to start with this...

Dont say nothing like that you know we are supposed to subsidize millionaires and billionaires so they can make money

Much better. And yeah, the government does want citizens to depend on them.
