I'm not uptight in the slighest. I always love a good joke, but how anyone can use a picture from the Holocaust as part of any joke is beyond me. Wow.

Let's remember that a high percentage of homeless are single moms and disabled veterans.
 
This thread is great for one specific reason. It allows us to see who is a piece of utter crap on this site. Some of you prove your ignorance with your comments in this thread. Show some compassion people. These facilities are binding into an agreement and bailing out because it does not appeal to them. Any of you could lose it all in the blink of eye and would suddenly "understand" the situation. The lack of compassion that you show is the same lack of compassion a lot of these people's family and friend's have shown them. Now imagine your kid needs a place to stay. He or she isn't staying at your house, because he or she is a bum. Maybe some of you need to learn life the hard way. I don't know. I'm glad you aren't my friend or family member because some of you are pretty bad at that.

Based on their backgrounds, if anyone should have empathy for the homeless and dispossessed underclasses, it's JCane. Not many know that he grew up being raised by a single father, along with several brothers, each of them with different mothers.. and that's if the maternity could at all be proven. They grew up early on in Bum**** South Carolina living in rented Fifth Wheels parked in the kind of trailer parks which consisted of more registered sex offenders than honest working folks. Unfortunately, although he tried his best, JCane's father was a degenerate 3 Card Monte Gambler, who lost what little they had looking for that elusive tricky red queen, compelling their family to survive on the charity of others and moving from homeless shelter to homeless shelter whenever beds were available or otherwise having to sleep upright, crammed into their dad's 1961 Nash Rambler with a broken heater on too many chilly nights.

It wasn't an easy existence for JCane, especially when you factor in the "interest" some of his formerly incarcerated trailer park neighbors expressed in grooming this goofy-looking, not particularly quick-witted, socially inept young boy. It's a credit to his fortitude and inner strength that he pulled himself up without any help to achieve the position of assistant to the lead night shift custodian at one of the major state parks in central South Carolina. So kudos to JCane.

IMO he's either merely acting out as the result of long-repressed unresolved issues or perhaps having some fun at other's well-intentioned expense since for him if when thinking about this, if he wasn't laughing he'd likely be crying. So now that the truth be told, kindly extend our own JCane some compassionate understanding rather than condemnation.

Indeed.

So a place like the stadium, can provide an improvement than overpasses, alleyways, etc. It'd also be a monitored area (more safe) and out of heavy traffic community areas.

This is an altruistic move by a politician - a humane thing to offer - which he/she should be doing.

Guys, not everyone is fit to make laws and rule/govern, so sure you'll get numbskulls on the net. No need to hate on a numbskull either, just a different type of person predisposed to not make laws or rule/govern.
 
They should let all the homeless in on gameday to fill the seats so the stadium looks like a sell out.... ;-)

I'm all for helping out the homeless, no reason why they shouldnt be allowed to find shelter at a empty stadium. But will this apply to the new Marlins ball park?

We all know Loria scammed his way to a billion dollar park.

Damn right he did. And therefore these bums should be able to scam their way into some housing of sorts. That's how you get ahead in today's world. No one plays fair anymore.
