Are Jt & Zt Hof'ers?

Have any DPOY's ever not made the H of F once eligible? I don't know the answer. My feeling is that the percentages in favor of being in the H of F are very high. It's too large an honor to overlook.

With that in mind, I think JT gets in someday but ZT does not.

I like them both, but I just don't see it for either one. The Jets guy makes sense.

Neither of them do. You can't compare stats now-a-days to those of decades ago.

If so the average QB in the league is doing better then the best 30 years ago. How would Pennington's season last year look 35 years ago? He would have been elite.

There is more to the HOF then just stats.\

There is a difference between a tackle and a meaningless or unimpactful tackle. Like the Jet poster mentioned. This is why Thomas is NEVER regarded in the same light as the others of his time. Zack may have the stats but the others make critical GAME CHANGING plays that consistantly won games.

Oh yeah guys like Strahan and Lewis also showed up in the Playoffs. They didn't blame the offenses for any short comings.

Thomas not a HOF'ER. Taylor.... Maybe but not a 1st Ballot.
