Are We Done If We Lose Tonight?

I knew weeks ago that Miami had no chance at the playoffs. The offense just can't score, and there will be no help until the off-season.
 
Doesn't matter if we win or lose, we are two games and a tiebreaker behind pitt for the last WC. We have 2/3 unwinable games patsX2/SF, so at best we are looking at 8-8. We are looking at next years draft at this point. The rest of the season is about getting RT some experience, and seeing what pieces we need to keep/add for next year.
 
Think about it this way too. If we lose tonight that means we'd have lost to the colts, titans and now Bills in a row. Do we even have any business being in the playoffs after losing to those 3 teams? Come on man!!

based on what exactly does pittsburgh have the tiebreaker over us already? we do not play them head to head, and the next thing is conference record.

pitt has 3 losses- all to afc team ( denver, tenn, oakland)

we have 5 losses, 4 to afc teams ( jets, tenn, colts, texans) so yes right now they have the tiebreaker, but the odds r if we end up tied with them we will get a tiebreaker over them, bc they prob will lose to balt 2x especially if big ben is out. also, even if we tied in conference record, next tiebreaker is common games, well so far we beat oakland and they lost to oakland, and we both loss to tenn, and we went 1-1 vs jets and they beat the jets, and we beat cincy as did they, so will see what happens in the 2nd game.

right now we r 3-2 and they r 2-2.

i know i just went insanely in depth when the odds r it prob wont matter, but pitt does not have a tiebreaker set in stone vs us in the least bit.
 
Anybody talking playoffs right now should just relax and take it one week at a time. Anydody who talks playoffs if we lose to the Bills tonight should straight up be banned for the remainder of the season...
 
O.K.....So what happened to the idea that if this team was able to win more than the 3 or 4 games that the so called "experts" said we were going to win, and our rookie QB developed, it would be considered a pretty good season. Hell, some folks on here thought it would be another 1-15 season, and that then we could get Barkley (WTF)? I really wouldn't care if we lost the next 7 games by 3-7 points each and looked competitive, and got some production out of some young players so that we know what we have to build with, and what we have to get rid of. What good are all the picks we have if we are sitting at the back end of the draft order? Trying to build a winner here folks. We need to build with our OWN players, not scoop up high priced free agents. As someone else posted in an earlier thread, a large percentage of the high priced free agents end up not being worth the price tag.

yes were done if we dont win tonight. for us to make it to 9-7 well have to beat either the pats or niners, and then win all of the other games on our schedule. right now, beating either of those teams seems like it would be a borderline miracle.
