Am I proud to be a Dolphins fan...yes! Am I proud of the Dolphins right now...HELL NO! They are a disgrace right now.

I've said this before too...it is the "Curse of Shula."
 
With all the problems this team just missed the playoffs in 2013. Plus we are seeing several problems leave the building this offseason. This is a very young team with talent in many places. It's actually a good time to be optimistic.

Old enough to have had big Griese & Csonka posters on my bedroom walls as a kid. Don Shula and all the winning right up until he left.

I wonder how the younger fans can be proud of anything? At this point to even remember Marino in his prime in the middle 80's you have to be at least 40...and even those teams failed to win the Superbowl.

I was extremely proud of this team when I was younger, the first 15 years of my Dolphin fanhood saw all five Superbowl appearances and I expected it to continue.

The last 14 years have been a nightmare and tested my true fanhood.

Sound like we are around the same age. It wasn't just the Superbowl appearances, but the fact that we were so competitive almost every year.

Keep the faith......
 
where exactly is this talent in many places? the oline is non existent, the rbs are average at best, the defense has been getting worse the past 2 years and if grimes and starks leave thats 2 gigantic holes to fill. the qb shows potential but by no means is he anything but a question mark at this time. to me it may be a very long time before this team is truly good again.

What produces pride? A storied history, accomplishments, knowing your team made a great effort.

We have the first. We had the second a long time ago. The third has been missing for a long time.
My pride is at half-mast. Pass the little blue pills.
 
I will always be a Fin fan to my dying day,but as of right now this team seems it can't do anything right.
This team has morons at every level running the team, owner,GM we shall see, HC. It seems this team always winds up
in the news for something bad.Can they just play the game the way it should be played and stay out of the news for all the wrong reasons
and stop disgracing this once proud franchise.Man do i miss the Shula days!!!

with all that they just missed the playoffs and were good enough to beat 4 of the 6 that did make in the AFC
 
lost to buffalo twice, the jets, bucs....and we should hang our hats on the fact that they almost made the playoffs? i really believe most young dolphin fans have no clue what its like to root for a winning team, therefore the bar is set to such low standards that ALMOST making the playoffs is seen as a succesfull season with the team headed in the right direction.
 
I was and always will be proud of the Marino/Shula days. The past decade really not much to be proud of.
