Like clockwork, just had to take a back hand swip at Tua. Go root for SD, cause the next time Herby wins anything significant will be his first time ever. Charmin soft in the big spots.Hopefully him and Tua…but it’s not likely….

As stated it happens and there are examples of players playing at a high level after being injured. Of course there is more concern for injury once a player is injured and there are more examples of injuries ended a career than going away after a certain age.Can anyone name some notable players who kicked the injury bug toward the second or back half of their career after being plagued by it consistently?

It’s not backhanded when it’s 5 straight years?Like clockwork, just had to take a back hand swip at Tua. Go root for SD, cause the next time Herby wins anything significant will be his first time ever. Charmin soft in the big spots.
JMO, but it is backhanded when Tua was not the subject of the thread, nor was there any subsequent discussion about him. It’s not backhanded when it’s 5 straight years?
Sorry if that upsets your “hopium” trip?

And just to spell it out to you so you understand. This thread had nothing to due with Tua, yet here you come and want to trash on Tua in a frigging Armstead thread. Think about it.It’s not backhanded when it’s 5 straight years?

We were discussing Armstead and “hoping” he stays healthy?JMO, but it is backhanded when Tua was not the subject of the thread, nor was there any subsequent discussion about him.
When one brings Tua negativity into almost every discussion, irrespective of topic, it's a fairly strong signal that there may be an anti Tua agenda.
Not a huge issue, but let's not deny how it appears.
And yet you are the one who brings it up over and over in every thread you can.We were discussing Armstead and “hoping” he stays healthy?
It’s even more critical that we get a full season from our franchise QB…no?
Trent Williams. Can anyone name some notable players who kicked the injury bug toward the second or back half of their career after being plagued by it consistently?
Based on his career, him playing 13 to 15 games is an upside. He’s a great Tackle, but he is what he is and he’s a guy who misses games. His career numbers don’t lie. If he starts 13 games that’s huge for us.13 is basically a quarter of the season without him. For what we're paying him, the team and us as fans should expect more. I do appreciate what guys, and armstead in particular last season, endure to play through injuries. At the same time, you have to ask why does he have a propensity for being injured?
Frank Gore was a good one but THIS is especially applicable to our situation… Trent Williams got fairly healthy way late in his career.Trent Williams.
