Ask Boomer

Hey Boomer!

I really like Adrian McPherson. Honestly if I were to pick anyone apart from Smith and Rodgers, he would be my pick. If we can get him with an early 3rd, I would not only be happy, i'd consider us very lucky. What's your take on how he will do in the NFL?

Have to see that I have never seen Albany play, suffice to say that it's pleasing to see that the coaching staff are being as diligent with the guys from Albany and Kutztown State as they are with the guys at USC and FSU.

You must be talking about Mobley... I graduated from Kutztown in '01. :)

If I get time I'll knock out a top 10. As for favourite bitter, I don't do bitter....lager. I prefer German lager or Corona which is my absolute fave.

Warsteiner is very good.

Oh, and it's Kutztown University now. :)

Boomer, if Aaron Rodgers was 6'4 how would he rate against Q.B.s from last years draft?

Hey Boomer, how are you doing? Seems like you were very impressed with Adrian McPherson's workout as was I,but this question has to do with one of last years prospects.Whatever happened to USC CB Marcus Allmond? He was alright at USC and was a good compliment to Will Poole, but he disappeared.Just wondering if you scouted him last year and if you think he can become an NFL CB?

Boomer,

off the top of your head... could you do a quick QB rankings.

cheers.

Boomer I dont know if anybody has brought this up yet or not. I havent read all 794 posts. Do you think Saban is trying to bring back Ricky and Boston so he can pick a QB with #2 and have an instant offense? If Ricky could come back and be half the back he used to be and Boston shows signs of his old self we really could be a contender with a good QB. Whether it be Feeley or Smith/Rodgers. Look at the weapons linehan would have with our backfield and receiving corp. Our defense has really been upgraded on the run stopping front and we could really be a contender. Just a thought, what do you think? This could all be done relatively cheap with the way Saban is signing people and the past of two the mentioned.

Hi mate....can't believe you haven't read the other 790+ posts

hahaha. I think Ricky is probably a smokescreen so that he can deal him - make it look like he's got a will to play and he's getting help and get something for him. I think Boston they would like back. He's too much of a weapon in that offense. And Boston has to realise that he could make a lot of money and put up some humungous numbers in that offense.

I think the offense is close. I actually think he might trade down and really fill gaps with youth, possibly on D and on O. I know that's rather a fudged answer but I have no clear idea what they will do. I do know this - I wouldn't be surprised if David Pollack, Shawne Merriman and Marcus Spears are Dolphins. Not all three, but one.

I think he has great physical skills but he's a moon away from starting in the NFL. He has so much work to do. Can we really afford a project like that in the 2nd/3rd round area??? Not sure.

Not really, just making a general comment about small schools and KTS was the 2nd that came to mind.

:D

Hey mate. I think size isn't that much of an issue. There were rumours he was 6foot which would have been a lot more problematic. I still think he would have been around the JP Losman area. BTW, JP is going to be a very fine passer for the Bills.

Hello WB. I'm fine mate....you?

I was impressed with the numbers but I get concerned about shorts and sweats scouting.

Marcell was a headcase who has bounced around the Ravens and the Jags. As for being a pro..... I truly don't. I think he doesn't have the temperament or the natural ability. He gets beaten too much to the inside and never seemed too fluid to me. I think he's on the Jags PS but I don't know.
