Assuming Ireland and Philibin are Done, Whose Next Up?

This is not a big deal.

We have a soft player as in Martin, who quit.

He has an agenda, and its to destroy the Miami Dolphins organization.

He's a cry baby.

Release him.

I think you guys are getting a little ahead of yourselves; when this is all said and done I believe the evidence will show Martin had a mental problem, his mother overreacted and philbin/ Ireland did nothing wrong. I also think we're about to make a playoff run.

So save your wet dreams about new coaches and gms till after the season

playoff run really???...for the record I would love to see this happen but it's not Christmas time yet. We came up against a play-off calibre team in the Saints & got rightly destroyed, because that's the way football should be played in this day and age. Can you honestly say you see Philbin & co getting us playing like that? We have the talent in T-hill, Wallace, Miller, Hartline, Gibson & Clay but trying to use them like the Saints coaching staff would is a whole other ballgame.

I agree with WesternNYDolfan.

Our media and world has lost its bearings.

This whole deal is a non-issue.

Period, its so ridiculous.

If i'm Ross, I play the year out, see if we can clinch a wildcard spot and let things cool down a bit before making a decision. The media will forget about all of this after the season, they always do.... We all know what switching schemes and personnel does to the young players development, hell that's all we've ever seen the past decade and a half. The team has a good group of young players that we can build on and changing everything up would be bad. Let's see what this team is made of and can do when faced with some real life adversity. You never know, this could be the spark that sets them off for a major run.

We also played playoff caliber teams in the Bengals and Colts and beat both of them. We're 4-4 with a game against 0-8 team coming up. While I am not a strong supporter of Ireland and Philbin, I don't think we're out of it yet.

Bring Philbin back and we're going to make the playoffs.....

All this BS will bring this team back on track...

We have lost our LG and RT on an already porous oline. We picked up a practice squad player from Dallas and McKinnie who is not the same player. In a few games his knees will be sore.
I can be as optimistic as anyone, but I think we will have a hard time sweeping the Jets and beating the Bills and Patriots in the situation we are in. Those are 4 of the final 8 games.
I am not buying it right now.

Why not bring back Lance Louis or how about Starks? I think Rashad Butler is out there too.. Just saying. There is a few options to replace one of those 2 guys.

Not like Martin or Cog were really bringing anything to the table... They were both getting beat every game.

I'd wonder if Tony Dungy would ever be interested in a front office decision-making job. Not counting on it, just saying I'd welcome him with open arms.

This coaching regime has to get at least 3 years.

An experienced HC is needed and one that directly can coach QB's or at the very least has a plan to have a staff to coach up the most important position. From there, the candidate has to be vetted properly so there is no examples of hazing in his past.

So, basically nobody then?
