Assuming Ireland and Philibin are Done, Whose Next Up?

Brian billick anyone? I wouldn't mind him. but I think philbin stays. I would just love seeing the espn heads if we make the playoffs this year. shove that leadership in their face

Ross passed on Billick last year.

IMHO the staff which is feasible:
Nick Caserio GM
Jon Gruden HC
Gary Kubiak OC If not then Jay Carmichael Jr (NO)
Lovie Smith DC
Other coaches, the only one I'd really care about would be Hudson Houck O Line coach. Dude gets his guys ready everywhere he's gone.

I'd trade Cowher for Gruden.

I don't want Jay Gruden, especially after watching Cinn and their erratic offense the last couple seasons. Some days it blows up, other days it's blown up. And we don't have any AJ Green either. No to Darrell Bevell either. Look at that offense in Sea. It's based on smashmouth running with a perfect guy for the system, then having the QB run around and work to make plays. There's so little timing involved, when in doubt have the QB run or throw deep. We'd be better off getting Scott Frost out of Oregon than either of those fools.

Another unlikely candidate that I'd approve is Gus Malzahn. Brilliant football mind, has the personality, and he runs the ball as well as anyone. In addition, his offense is very QB friendly, and his team is playing very physical on both sides of the ball.

I love it. A 21st century high octane offense that would properly utilize, Tannehill, Miller, Hartline, Clay, & Wallace.

Keep Coyle and allow him pretty much free reign.. He'd be able to let Jordan, Wake, Ellerbe, & Wheeler create mass havoc.

HIGHLY doubt you'd get Cowher out of retirement now. No on Billick and I think Marty is done with the NFL

Only guys on your offensive list I'd look at are Carmichael the Grudens and Roman. Kevin Gilbride is close to retirement and the others have proven to be just meh as head coaches.

Some good defensive guys there, but probably wouldn't go with Dan Pees. Not thrilled with the idea of the Tampa 2 but I think we got personnel for Lovie's D.

I'll throw out a few more names...

Darrell Bevell OC, Seattle
Jedd Fisch OC, Jacksonville (not good results yet, but I think he's a good coach)
Kyle Shanahan OC, Washington
Dave Toub ST Coach, Chicago
Mel Tucker DC, Chicago

I've been sleeping on Bevell. I don't know how he'd be as a HC, but I LOVE the way he runs that offense in Seattle. And what if you brought over John Fitterer to be the new GM. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know if he's ready for the gig, but he took over as the head of scouting in 2010, and he's since drafted Okung, E. Thomas, K. Chancellor, G. Tate, R. Sherman, R. Wilson, R. Turbin, C. Michael. I think it's brilliant that Seattle has three RB's who are all about 220 and both explosive and powerful. Each of their three RB's can handle a 20-carry game on a consistent basis. We have no one that can do that. Bevell and Fitterer in 2014 for the win!
