Athlon MAgazine says......

I'm not so worried about him as a rookie. He should not be the next Rothlesberger. I could be wrong I suppose. I don't know. I wouldn't turn him away from our team if he were homeless right now because I hear good and bad things and the bad mostly comes from here (and we want him to suck!). But won't he need time like most other QB's, even with McGahee running and solid defense?

Good thing he is not a rookie.

He threw what, 5 passes? For all intents and purposes, he's a rook.

He has the experience of a Rookie.........but he's actually a 2nd year man.......

Of course he's actually a second year man, how else could he have gotten those 5 pass attempts?

We will finish the year 3-13 and Saban will make a playoff push 2008, thus saying that they predict the Bills 11-5 and making playoffs, and saying Jp 'Loser" Losman will succeed as the Qb "of the future" for the Bills. All i have to say is Everyone is underestimating us cuz we had 1 bad year, time to prove those critics wrong, Go Fins GO

Wow. What idiots. :shakeno:

SD didn't have a new HC or system. They weren't rebuilding like the fins.

Well, technically Miami had neither a HC OR a system last season. You guys fail to realize that this team improved by the simple act of Dave stepping down. Another thing that many people are overlooking is that out of all of our losses last season, we had at least another 3 or 4 games that we could have won if not for an incompetent HC and lack of an offensive game plan. Having said that, I don't think that it is unrealistic to expect 8 wins this season for my Phins.

Athlon Is Never Right! How Can They Say 3-13 And We Were 4-12 Last Year. We Will Be At Least 8-8 This Year.

excellent post

Historically speaking Athlon Magazine is right. The NFL is littered with hotshot college coaches who failed.

For every JJ there is a SOS, the difference with Saban is hes an ex-NFL coordinator coming back to the NFL.

Let Athlon and the rest of the magazine's keep predicting, games are won on the field not on a printing press.

I agree with you. Talk is the press on paper; football is played in the dirt where it should be. The fins will be better than most people think in 2005:evil:.
