Atlanta fans talking trash

This is going to be a good game! A good test early for both teams. IMO, if we can control the clock we stand a good chance. If we can't it may be a bad start.

the atlants defense i saw in the san diego game the other night was outright horrid.

they can't stop any phase of the game and i've never seen a team have zero clue on how to defend a screen pass.

there is no doubt in my mind that our defense is much more formidable than theirs. and i think that's vs the run or pass.

my concern on defense to date is our pass d cause we've allowed scrubs like troy williamson and maurice stovall to torch us in first halfs of games with our starters on the field and i still haven't seen us defend a te yet this preseason.

bottom line is a heady player like chad pennington and schematic masterminds like henning and david lee should torch this defense.

if we can limit john abraham off the edge we're gonna move the ball at will.

i like our matchups on either side there with long or carey against abraham, espcially running right at him.

i would agree with that as well. run right at abraham. wear him down with the power run game in his grille

Controlling the clock is key to the way this team plays football, especially against a talented offense like Atlanta.

Just wanted to point out that Turner is a very good back, but his O-line doesn't block for him nearly as well against "good" teams.

Here's his game long from last season:

The way our secondary has played in the pre-season, we'll be lucky if Atlanta doesn't score 42 points on us with Matt Ryan throwing for 400 yards

that falcons oline looks improved to me especially in the run game. pass pro i'm not so sure.

pass d should be a concern of everyone. if it's not nothing we've done on the field in the preseason should suggest any different.

Falcons have a good OL,though not deep.No stars, but Boudreau has them playing well as a unit.Good run blocking, especially to the right with Dahl and Clabo.Center McClure received all-star considerations last year.Good pass protection.Gave up 17 sacks last year I think, though this is aided by Ryan's quick release.Gone in 2 seconds, which should negate your pass rush.He doesn't throw for a lot of yards because he doesn't have to.That doesn't mean he can't or won't.And he didn't have a TE to throw to to speak of.Stack the box vs Turner and he'll cut you up.Defense is questionable and will have to be carried by the offense until they mature. Can Miami keep up?I don't think PS#3 was representative of either team.Should be a good game.

I know a few people have mentioned the Falcons fans....do you know how many Dolphins fans will be in attendance?! You will be AMAZED! Look for section 103 on t.v. among MANY others

I just went there and realized that. This is what Langer72 posted and started a thread on for all of you interested.

Not a very welcome visitor to say the least.

So what is wrong with a little mutual trash talking before the game?
Please, if you dont like my threads, just ignore them.
At least the guys in the Atlanta board have a sense of humor.
Lighten up geishaboy.
