This is probably the most questionable move of the offseason. AVG was really good! And he signed a very reasonable contract.

I realize I’m in the minority here, but I like Barrett better than AVG. Van Ginkel is a playmaker but wasn’t physical enough to be a three-down edge.

Keep in mind this was the second season in a row we let AVG go. Last year it looked like it was our DC that brought him back.

Something must have been going on between AVG and the Dolphins, but I have no idea what it could have been - maybe a personality problem between the FO and AVG?
