Barry Jackson: Players beginning to question the coaches

I don't think being 1-2 is the issue its losing to both teams by 19 points

Perhaps you're right in that regard. The Buffalo game and KC game were very much alike through all 4 quarters. Essentially repeating the exact same loss definitely makes for easy skepticism.
Still, you'd think a good coaching staff would have a better handle on this. Yikes.

This team needs a win really bad.

Have to get to 2-2 today.

Who are going to be the leaders that step up and make plays?

Hmmm....where have I heard that before?

Players have lost respect for Nick Saban and his militant ways?
Players have lost respect for Cam Cameron and many don't listen to him?
Players have lost respect for Tony Sparano and question his game planning?

Seems like the same song and dance with every coach....maybe we need new players that actually do the job they get paid to do.
When you're not winning that's a big factor too. This happens in plenty of other organizations as well. But ultimately it does come down to finding the right coach and having the players bend a little on how the guy handles the team. That seems like a real bad mix here.

Winning cures all. But yes Coyle ' s decision to have DEs cover the the backs and Kelce caught us 14 point Trusnick playing the Mike doesn't really have a complaint.

Good QB play makes everybody look like a genius and this simply hasnt had it. I stated during preseason that the Phins would go only as far as RT takes them.
Ultimately, it will fall on Philbin, but no one seems to demand any professionalism from the players. It even sounds like some of them are already making excuses for an anticipated loss against the Raiders.
Philbin's teams have been some of the least penalized and that is the mark of a team that is disciplined. He was right to call out Hartline for that stupid rehearsed celebration, especially because the team was losing. Ive been a big supporter of Hartline on this site, but those antics of his really turned me off. That wasn't the time to be celebrating because up to that point he and his teammates were playing uninspired football.
I dont don't think this coaching staff is as bad as some of you make them out to be.
Things would be different if the players could reliably catch catchable balls and if the QB could routinely throw an accurate pass to a wide open receiver or not take a sack on 3rd and 1when there are 2 open outlet receivers on the play.
As they say, winning cures everything. When you lose, every blemish is magnified.

These coaches and players are making this organization look like a ****ing joke. The players suck anyway with the exception of a few. The Dolphins franchise is still on a downward spiral and guess what there is no light at the end of the tunnel. The Dolphins have squandered resources such as wasted draft picks like the 2 high picks wasted on Dion Jordan. What have any of these bums done to make us believe they can be winners. Its year 3 of Philbin and our Oline still sucks we are running a new offense which means the first offense failed. The defense has regressed and so has our so called FRANCHISE QB. Welcome to the bottom of the league boys we better get used to it cause it's not changing anytime soon.

Those situations happen with every team in every game. They are called mismatches and its the goal of every offensive coordinator to exploit them. The successful teams find creative ways to do that. KC burned us on that play, but that wasn't the reason the game was lost.
KC simply wanted/needed this game more than the Phins did.

It happening to the 49ers too.

Philbin seems like Cam Cameron all over again. Once players start questioning everything publicly, you're done as an NFL Head Coach.

I wonder if Philbin did bed checks in London?

So most of this distraction is because the hand picked " face of the franchise" performance has been sub par for five games in a row? Takes part in a planned celebration that helps result in points for the enemy? How dare they! I am no fan of Philbins, but who here would not be reminded by management that there are 100 people to take your job if you had 4 months of sub par performance. Dolphins will win today. Hopefully everyone will be happy for a while.

Philbin put that shield in the locker room cause it's pretty obvious no one in there has his back. Great coordinator but bad coach.

Lazor went thru much the same in Philly last season; win Wk1, followed by 3 losses to AFCW teams... the O took hold Wk9, and no more grumbling was heard... #patience

Nobody should be complaining. Not the players, not the coaches.

The team lost 2 games. You know who else is 1-2?
New Orleans.
San Francisco.
Green Bay
NY Jets
and I'm sure others.

They lost to the best Buffalo Bills team in years, and a KC team that almost beat the Super Bowl challenger Bronco's the week before, down to the wire.
And, Miami beat the Patriots in week 1. Week 1? Last time that happened was a gimmick wildcat nonsense game.

This is just ridiculous that this team is falling apart when they're only 1-2. It's hilarious, really.
Philbin couldn't control a high school classroom. What a mess.

Aaron Rodgers was doing his weekly radio shows this week and had this message for the fans "I've got five letters for you: R-E-L-A-X."

So we aren't the only ones feeling heat from the fans. And we don't even have the best QB in the NFL today.

On the TD celebration I give the rookies involved a pass, Hartline, Tannehill and Wallace are ****ing idiots though. Philbin is hoping these guys will act like professionals when he's not around, apparently that is too much to ask for with this lot.

This GIF epitomizes every thread that paints Philbin in a bad light:
