The debate isn't over cuz you just said that you're overall view of the team last year was more accurate. How? You knew that Chad Henne was our quarterback, you knew that we had no off season, and you knew that we were installing a new offense yet you predicted 9-7 anyway. You can't now go back and use those factors as excuses for why we lost so many games. It's not as if some unforseen circumstance prevented us from winning as many games as we should have last year.
What excuse do you want to make for the team's failure last year? The QB change? Didn't seem like we were setting the world on fire with Henne anyway, and I seriously doubt we would have done any better had either of the bums (Henne or Moore) played the entire season. You want to blame the coaching staff (or just the OC) specifically? You seemed to love those guys before last season, you can't revise history now. Wanna blame the lack of an off season? Nobody had an off season, that's a terrible excuse.
Outside of Henne, the team was relatively healthy last year. Again, there's no catastrophic event you can point to from last year that caused our downfall. The team was on a downward spiral from snap #1, and we started winning once we started playing really awful teams. We didn't beat a single good team last year, and don't start talking about losses by small margins either, go back and look at our 2007 1-15 team, we lost a bunch of close games that year too. Margin of victory means nothing, you are what your record says you are, period.
So no, we weren't the worst team in the league last year, only about 7th or 8th worst. Congratulations to the 2011 Miami Dolphins for not being the ****tiest team in the league!... You were wrong dude, and like I said, if anything 9-7 was more far off than 6-10, because you didn't anticipate a QB change that helped us win those games against crap teams! You had us at 9-7 with Chad Henne.
