Ben Tate a Dolphin?

He'd be an upgrade over what we have, but that isn't saying much. If we don't fix our o line properly it doesn't matter if we have Barry Sanders in his prime back there.
Focus on fixing the o line and draft a back IMO.

another guy that can't stay healthy...we looking to bat .000 around here???

I think you have complained at about every single possible signing lol

i think i don't give a damn what you think about it...frankly...i would just like to get some guys that will actually play on sunday and not be nicked up...

i'm not stupid and i won't be sold a **** sandwich

A one year prove it deal for Tate wouldn't be so bad, gives us another year to look for a running back in the draft.

Calm down bertha! You have your own opinion it was just something I've noticed you need to just relax a bit.

no worries...you just been crawling up my rear cause i'm not all in on some of this stuff...tate is a good player...but he hasn't proven durable enough to warrant franchise rb money...would depend on the money how i feel...but the more injury risk players going in you add it's not just about the money it's about a guy taking up a spot on your 53 and you may not get anything out of...especially at a position like rb...those guys just don't get more healthy as they get older

Not sure why you even think hes going to command "franchise rb money". Hes been injured recently and the RB market is at an all time low as far as what owners are willing to pay them. I don't think he's going to be getting as much as you think.

personally I think drafting an rb prospect shows more promise than any of the FA rb options...not too much selling me in that market.

also i was just talking to my friends about this last night, I don't like Ben Tate becuase he is the only FA rb that I think will be looking to milk a team for a payday

If its a 1yr deal or a 2yr deal with not a lot of guaranteed money then I'm all for it. The biggest question on Tate is durability....Just like Mcfadden.....MJD.....CJ2K...and just about ever other RB out there. I'd want MJD over him, but I'd rather have Tate then Mcfadden TBH.

I should also point out that I am a huge Auburn fan haha....He went to school there.

I've never been a fan of FA RBs. RB is a position for young legs. The younger the better. Not that Tate is an old man, but I'd love to draft a guy so he can grow on the team.
