He has all the makings of being another Tom Brady with his pocket awareness, accuracy and poise, however Chad needs to play a full season before we start canonizing him.

2002 he practically did play a full season, just watched Vinny for the first 4 games.

2003 he had a freak injury. It's not like he is injury prone.

We have a better passing QB(Mcnabb is a better crater and playmaker but as a pure QB Chad is better), we have a better RB, we have a better OL, we have a better group of WRs(they have the best but after TO it's not close), the only area they are better at is receiving TE.

Martin > Gordon (but Gordon will probably be better than Martin by end of season)

Moss + McCareins < Chambers + Booker

Becht < McMichael (BY A LOT)

Jets o-line > Dolphins o-line

What makes you think lamar Gordon will be anywhere near as good as Curtis? Was it the fact he was 3rd string on SL that impressed you so much that you think he is better than a future HOFer?

Moss and Chambers were close last year but Moss started 4 fewer games and still put up slightly better #s, McCareins had a better year than Booker and he is blossoming. You have good Wrs and it's close but I think we have the edge(especially when you consider we have a top QB throwing them the ball)

McMichael is a much better receiver at TE but Becht is a much better blocker.

Jets O is BY FAR better than Miami.

I mean really, Top 10 QB, one of the best backs in the last 2 decades who just proved he has more than a little gas left in the tank, 1 great WR (Moss), 1 good WR (McCareins), one vetern key 3rd down receiver (Chrebet), and one of the best Olines in football. (Fabini-Kendall-Mawae-Moore-McKenzie)

We made our mistake in week 1 with Fiedler, now you will see how our O will do for the rest of the season. We have too many weapons to not be better that the junk. Marty Booker, Chris Chambers, Randy Mcmicheal, AJ Feeley will show everyone why he is starting and Lamar Gordon will get better asthe season wears on with the knowledge of the offense. I wouldn't exactly place Santana Moss in the "Great" catagory just yet. He had 1150 yards last year, and that was a very good year for him, but the guy needs to do it again for him to be considered "Great"

The Jets as of right this second, have a more proven O line, QB, and RB. So as of right now, they are the better O. However, if our guys put it together, we could be right there with them. Feeley has an arm, Jay Fiedler he is not. Gordon has a lot of people talking right now.

If the O line gels a bit, and Feeley makes smart reads, we have the weapons to smoke the Jets. Chris Chambers has been a good QB away from breaking out.

So sure, as of right now, all you little Jetsie fans can gloat. But you had better hope that this team doesn't start to put it together, cause the pieces are there.
