its ok people ,i think i have a solution for this. here goes ,if it was up to me ,i would create a rule where the maximum salary for a rookie would be 5 million dollars for 5 yrs and a minimum salary of. $800,000 per year. I think the players agents are to blame for some of this mess.

A rookie cap is a great idea, the NHL just made one and in the NHL rookie players are just happy to play in the NHL, like sidney crosby. The NFL should have a rookie cap between 800 000 and 1 000 000 with plenty of bonus money for incentives reached IMO :)
