Benson ripped for not being in camp is Ronnie next?

Nobody else? What about Thomas Jones? He will probably be the starter at least at the beginning no matter when Benson finally reports. He had almost 1400 yards in total offense and he missed two games with injury. While no one thinks he will be the long term answer, thus the selection of Benson, they do have another person to carry the load if Benson misses more time! In a way they are alot like us with RW and Gordon. The difference is that Saban will not make it a public thing, but when Brown gets to camp, Saban will make him cry to his momma!!! :lol:

What if he gets a career ending injury in practice before his contract gets done? Then he gets nothing. But I agree, he should want to get it worked out soon so he can get going in our offense, especially with RW and co. here as competition. I hope he is not being misguided by his agent.
 
7 million difference, so what? he's not going to starve on 15 or 18 mill...i like the guy i really do, i'm talkin in general about rookies...agents are just greedy and try to get as much as possible cause they get 3 %... i would sign for 10 or 15 mill signing bonus anyday

i think they should do it like in the NBA get a short three year deal and about a million each year and then sign the big contract but if everyone else is getting paid in the NFL i dont blame him

NFL prohibits players from coming to camp until they are under contract.
