Bill Parcells remains a part of the Dolphins

3. Is Bill Parcells still involved with the Dolphins?

The message from Ireland, Sparano and Dolphins CEO Mike Dee the last month has unequivocally been no, Parcells is no longer involved in any way, shape or form with the Dolphins after he stepped down from his post in September.

But then we see these interesting quotes from the father of TCU quarterback prospect Andy Dalton in the family’s hometown newspaper, the Katy (Texas) Times. And it sure seems like Parcells is still involved with the Dolphins’ football operation.

Dalton, likely a mid- to late-round draft pick, spoke with the Dolphins and several teams at the Senior Bowl two weeks ago. Apparently he spoke with Parcells, too, though it is not clear if it was in Mobile, Ala. or somewhere else.

“Really, this week is the first chance that NFL teams have to talk to you as a player,” Greg Dalton, Andy’s father, said of the Senior Bowl. “He met with the Miami Dolphins coach and general manager and Bill Parcells, Pete Carroll and the Seattle staff, and Jason Garrett of the Cowboys. Parcells has developed a criteria for drafting quarterbacks. The height was fine, and he has to put on a few pounds.”

So now Jeff and Tony can go back to Ross after this season fails, and tell him it was Parcell's fault.....Again.
 
thats what sux the most is we dont know for sure who is accountable for drafting
do any other nfl teams keep secret who makes the picks?
 
It says "He met with the Miami Dolphins coach and general manager and Bill Parcells." We already know Bill Parcells is still friends with Ireland and Sparano. Ireland said he would still consult with Parcells. Parcells is not just going to go away. He is freeloading right now. He's a name and a face in football. So he's there and mingling. The sad part is if Ross is still paying him a salary. Does anyone know if Ross is still paying Parcells?
 
And we wonder why no legit coach wanted to come here.
