Bills are a nightmare matchup for Miami

My friend... are you high?

Kyle Williams played an insane game. Including multiple pressures, stuffing a screen in it's tracks, AND an interception.

And we blitzed tons of times. To the point where I was hoping Schwartz would calm down because I was afraid Brandon Marshall was going to get behind a CB for a long TD of he kept it up.

Were you watching the right game???

Kyle Williams was well off his game. This is a guy who was been dominant... the quickest defender off the ball the NFL has seen since Leon Lett. He is mostly a hand fighter now. It was actually a bit sad to see, even as a Dolphins fan. I'm not surprised you're taking the homer view of his game but trust me, I have been singing the man's praises for years. The int, for example, was an absolute gift from Cutler. The fact that you even mention it says everything.

I'm not faulting Schwartz for playing passively. Cutler likes to throw down the field and Marshall and Jeffery are impossible to play much press man against. Cover 4 and cover 6 are the right move against them. They're simply not the right move against us.

Kyle Williams rated out pretty poorly for that game...his best performance was in coverage (the INT saved his overall performance). His great plays were great...but they were rare and the rest were poor.

you should maybe do some research before putting your foot in your mouth

What is research going to tell me? A new coach? New scheme? New players?

None of that matters until it's proved on the field.

Interesting. I'd hadn't even bothered to check PFF but I'm not surprised to see they agreed with me. It was plain as day looking at the game. Williams scored a -1.2, with negative grades for both run defense and pass coverage. That's about right, imo. He wasn't that bad, per se, he just was just far below his standard.

Also not surprising that Jerry Hughes scored negatively. That was another big takeaway for me. I've have rarely seen a pass rusher with so many gifts from a physical standpoint with such terrible hand usage. Really, really bad. And it's been this way since he was at TCU. He is clueless with what to do with his hands and always has been and probably always will me. Not to mention at times he rushed at the wrong shoulder for no reason, allowing Cutler an easy outlet to his left.

Unsurprisingly, Preston Brown got their lowest grade, an abysmal -4.5. And he was abysmal. I applaud him for going out there and playing aggressively but he is miles away from being a credible NFL linebacker at this point.

Oh, you're not high, you just have no idea what you're talking about.

If you listen to Kyles post game interview and then watch the ALL-22 tape you will see him on the opposite side of the field figure out that Cutler was going to clear a path for Bennett, who he reversed field to follow and then snatched the ball. It's not like he was standing there the whole time. He recognized it from the other side of the field and ran over.

Secondly, funny that hand check guy had multiple QB pressures and a half sack.

Pfft.

I am the LEAST homer fan you'll ever meet. I have a love/hate relationship with the Bills that has revolved around the latter for close to a decade.

Buffalo will be a good opponent because it's a divisional game. That's about it. Win or lose, will not determine who the better team is for the season. It's still way too early. Buffalo is always the team that looks great on paper, starts off strong, then withers away. Even though buffalo beat Miami twice last year, Miami was still a better team. So far, it was much more impressive that Miami won 33-20 to NE (a team many expected to be in the SB this year), than it was the bills beating the bears by 3 points (who was missing alshon for much of the game and marshall for some of the game).

Oh, man. You disagree with me? I'm so bummed about that.

What I'm saying is not even controversial. It was right there, plain as day.

OK, see you Sunday...

Uhm, don't take what I said the wrong way.

I am NOT claiming a bills victory.

In fact; if I had to put money down id take the dolphins.

I'm simply saying it takes more than 1 game to create a change.

Why wouldn't you put money on the Bills after the thoughts you have presented in this thread?
