**Bills/Phins Post Game**

I don't know what to think.
Defense, down every edge rusher who was on the roster to start the year, was injured it seemed.
They did their job, only allowing 14 points.

Offensively, Waddle died again, and the offense has no tight end worth anything in the passing game.
The run game died in the 2nd half too.
Guess it's easy to take out Hill when he's the only threat out there?

Feels like the offense was solely built around Hill. Once he's neutralized, which good teams can do, the offense just sputters.
Sadly, I’m not even sure it’s that. We didn’t need Hill when we were running the ball well in the first. We didn’t even make a serious effort to keep that going in the second. It’s like we just reverted to our “we have to pass to win” mode (yet again) and ended up getting off the field quickly.

It’s so infuriating. It’s like coach has a belief that gutting out a win in the ground doesn’t count in the standings or something. It’s inexplicable how you give up so easily on something that helped get you to a 14-7 lead.

I just don’t think McDaniel had learned how to manage in game stuff. He’s smart, he can put a good game plan together, his system is amazing, but he doesn’t have the ability to read and react to the flow of the game.

Still too bitter to talk about Tua’s performance but I have some concerns.

When Marino had the ball with the game on the line I knew he was going downfield. When Tua has the ball with the game on the line I expect something awkward and bad to happen. I wish it wasn’t that way, but it is. That’s the narrative he wrote this season. Can it change next week? Maybe. But that maybe is based on blind faith, not any real world relevance.

Now all night my emotional reaction has been time to move on from Tua. But maybe one more offseason and his experiences this year gives him focus on making fixes. He’s 25, he’s young. He’s been battled tested quite a bit. He plays well against inferior teams. He’s also on a cheap fifth year. Don’t extend him. Make him make us pay after next season with a massive contract because his play has been undeniably great.
When flores was the coach he actually had some great 4th quarters. Maybe he needs to be scared shitless to do his job. Now he can just throw a pick on every final drive then walk up to the podium and say "it could have been worse", without any repercussions.

Did think they went pass happy but at the same time the run game did dry up in the 2nd the limit times they ran it. There was a stat up in the 3rd or 4th(don't remember) and the 1st hald was 5.X YPC, and the 2nd half was 2.X YPC
And that first half was inflated by that crazy Achane TD run. AI or not, it was a 0.3% chance of a TD per the broadcast.
Maybe Achane could of busted one more in the 2nd half, but the run game was not consistent, for whatever reason that was.

Bills had just as many injuries. Tua can't carry this team, it's not going to be perfect against good teams, good teams are in the playoffs. I hope we don't sign him.long term. Mcdaniel can go too

Tua has a ceiling, we all saw it. When everything is right and the middle of the field is open or the other defense cannot our speed and he can play point guard he is pretty good.

However outside of those scenarios his limitations become apparent.

I believe it difficult to see him at this point at or above Cousins level.

Some tuanon fans get offended by the cousins comparison but Tua may be less than cousins. I think we saw Tua ceiling this year and it wasn't even enough to win the division.

This offense is clearly based on timing and spots. We should have more roll outs etc, can't keep Tua in the pocket when you have missing pieces on offense.

I would take Cousins over Tua every day. Cousins is not great but he throws the ball much better and stronger than Tua ever will. He made throws at Buffalo and in comeback wins last year than Tua can never make in his lifetime.

I don't think they can without Watt
They could have 4 Watts and they are not beating Josh Allen in Buffalo with Mason Rudolph at QB.
That guy must be on drugs if he thinks Pitt is going to win.
Then again there are a few idiots here that posted the Fins would win 42-17 last nite.

Offense is better when the ball is spread around
To who? Claypool, Wilson, Berrios? The Bills put one guy on each of those clowns and used the rest to surround Hill. Without Mostert, Mike decided not to use Achane out wide. So no Achane running downfield and no Waddle. Who exactly do we spread it around to? I watched the Packers yesterday. They have about 5 young WRs running around getting open. We have retreads like Berrios and Claypool.

Zimm's ratings should be interesting this week. Let's face it the offense has absolutely sucked for most of the second half of the season after starting out like a bat out of hell. We are now almost universally (and rightfully) considered to be nothing more than flat-track bullies.

I like Cousins
He’s not Brady or Manning but he’s a battler and has skills
He gets a bad rap
