And he won't be worth anywhere near the amount of money he'll be asking for.
Whatever team overpays him will make the same mistake countless other teams have made with FA's and screw up their cap structure. Those teams usually don't make the playoffs.

Nate Clements will be a Cleveland Brown for the 2007 season.

#2 - They are in need of a starting CB

I say we go for this guy quicktimes.

We need a shut down corner to compliment W. Allen. We'd have the depth, with T-Dan as nickel back, solidifying it all. Our safeties are fine. With the acquisiton of Clements, our backfield would be set IMO.

Some other team will overpay him as he is now the top rated FA CB since Samuel got tagged.
