Blackout date extended

Because of Labor Day, the Dolphins were granted a blackout extension by the NFL until 1 p.m. on Friday. A few thousand tickets remained . Sun-Sent.

In reality, WTF does Labor Day have to do with people buying tickets  Like people walk down to the stadium all the time nowadays to pick up tickets.

It is just a good faith offer byt he league to see if the FIns can get it on TV, nothing more. I am fine by that

Here's your chance to do something about the black-out people. Even if you don't live within driving distance, or aren't able to go to the game, go buy a ticket. If you want to sit at home and watch it, go spend a measly $40....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

offices were closed, giving them an extra day to make sales, what is your beef with that?

I am just wondering of the guys from the Miami area on this site, are going to the game?

Is any one on here really really rich. Buy up all those tickets and then email me about sending me some extra money too.

If there is only a few thousand seats left and they don't sell out to the public by 1pm on Friday, some company/corporation will purchase the remainder to lift the blackout.

Why? If there are only a "few thousand" tix left then the local station will buy them up & put on the game. With the walk-up crowd the game will sell out.

my beef is they have to mask the fact that they are throwing the Miami area (and others they do this too) a bone. Why dont' they just say "we are giving you 24 hours more to try and sell out"

I will be there, have my Season tickets for 13 years now...

The game will sell out, those tickets will be purchased by TV and given to charities...

give it up. Even if the blackout is lifted, if your team doesn't win, there will be more blackouts and the question is, will you keep making such threads every week?

The dolphins have one of the biggest fanbase spread out all over the country and Canada. Not everyone can fly game after game with the gas prices affecting plane ticket prices. If you look closely, So. Fla does not have a whole lot of people interested in football but they will salsa on the dance floor anyday.
