Bob McAdoo GB QB coach a possible candidate

McAdoo has never called plays at the NFL level…smh.

Can I have a qualified, experienced HC OR coordinator?

Chambers or somebody is saying they are hearing Philbin would call the plays like what McCarthy does in GB. Flame on.

Nope. My hope is that he actually hires someone based on meritocracy and not personal connections. Is that too much of an expectation?

Also, while I have an issue with "czar" concept, it could bring some sanity to the situation. My issue with the czar concept is the following: aren't Ireland and Philbin supposed to know football enough that they don't need someone over their heads giving them guidance? If they need that guidance, they should be fired. However, if Ross is bent on keeping these two together then maybe they need a czar.

Every coach/GM has somebody over their head giving them guidance, it just so happens in our situation that person (Ross) has no clue what he's doing.

"Chambers or somebody is saying"…way to pin that down. Must mean that it will happen.

Joe has a ton of experience calling plays in Green Bay, right? Plus, why would McAdoo come to Miami if he is not calling plays?

Every GM or coach has the owner over his head…obviously. Not many have a czar.

I am close to people who are close with Ben (if that makes sense) and I know for a fact he has mutual interest in the phins. Mark my word, sticky this or do what ever you do. The dolphins will hire him as the OC I can almost guarantee it. I've heard he is very creative and knows how to use his players

If that last part is true, he'd be a huge upgrade.

The need for a czar in Miami is more because of the lack of leadership from the ownership than anything else. Ross is either too absentee or too inept to manage Ireland and Philbin.

John Elway is a czar with a GM and coach under him, and it's effective. Bill Polian was a czar in Indy with his son Chris as GM. Chris was a hindrance but that is an example of the structure. If your owner is a Mara or Rooney, you may not need a czar. When it's dumbo, a czar could he helpful for a variety of reasons. Credibility around the league. Holding Ireland's and Philbin's feet to the fire. If they say "we will upgrade with Wheeler" and it turns out not to be true, the czar will get it. Right now, Ireland and Philbin can hoodwink Ears (the owner) with their ever evolving, blame shifting, tension filled dysfunctional rationalizations.
